Any particular reason? Not that it's a super guide, but pretty much all of the last minute mock drafts I've seen have them all going top 6.

I don’t think they will fall, but this is a weird draft with rankings all over like I’ve never seen.

I think if Pickett and Willis go in the top ten.. Ie say Car and Sea, one of those stud OL may slip a little.

Both those teams need OL badly, but they also need QBs… so odds say there is a chance one slips if the QB scenario plays out.

A round 1 QB makes little sense. They need to draft at least one, for sure, since there are two openings currently. I just hope they wait and grab one with some potential. I just don’t see a franchise guy in this draft worthy of 20OA unless KP falls.

Draft DL, WR in the first couple rounds, please.

And the Steelers would pass on them for a reach QB.

We have seen this story before. When the Steelers focus on a position they do not deviate.

He speaks his mind and I like that.

Safety is much like RB in that it’s such a devalued position. I’d have to think about that scenario for a bit…

I basically want Pickett, a trade up for one of the big three OTs, WR, DL in that order.

I really think one of those stud OTs may slip and they are impossible to find. Any of those three could end up as a franchise cornerstone and Steelers have never had one in my lifetime.

Colbert needs to move heaven and earth if the top ten teams are stupid enough to let one slip by.

It seems like what the Steelers do really depends on which direction the Panthers go at 6. If they take OT, Pickett likely falls to the teens at least. If they go Pickett, that could start a mini run on QBs and push one of the tackles down a bit.

I don’t see it. If one of the three stud OTs slip to say 11, Steelers would 100% jump all over that.

You can’t get T like these - but that brings up the obvious issue that other teams would likely try to move up as well.

Colbert would have to be highly aggressive, but it would be a bold move that may help them find their first true franchise T In my lifetime.

How long can you wait for Carson Strong? 3rd? Any chance he lasts until 4th? I am more and more convinced that's what I'd do. I used to be Ridder/Howell/Corral in round 2 but now I'm off that too (only in part because recent buzz suggests they may not even last that long).

especially the brief moment of anger and confusion before they realize they traded up for a guy who fills an immediate need other than QB

"The Pittsburgh Steelers are now on the clock. With the (x)th pick in the 2022 Draft, the Steelers select..."

"Yay they're getting Malik Wil-"

"Cornerback, Trent McDuffie"

"NOOOO"

Well considering the Steelers haven't developed a CB in eons, I would kind of be pissed if they took one

Kevin Colbert reaches into his pocket and pulls out a note that reads, "Trent McDuffie No Matter What."

If they're serious about valuing mobility in a QB, I don't see how he fits.

Carr claimed he initially brought up the name of Liberty quarterback Malik Willis, but then Sullivan redirected the conversation to Corral.

“I just randomly threw out there, because I like Malik Willis, I’m like are you guys going to take Malik Willis, of course he’s not going to tell me,” Carr said. “He’s like ‘do you know who I actually like, I like the kid from Ole Miss, what’s wrong with him?’ “

Carr added, “He has a sneaky good arm and he’s a tough sucker, too.”

Carr went on to tell Dameshek that Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin told him Corral is the best quarterback he’s ever coached. Kiffin and Carr were roommates at Fresno State

Sounded like a misdirection so he didn’t have to talk about Willis lol…Willis is about as obvious as Najee was last year…

Except Tomlin wants a QB who is competitive and he isn’t
You’re taking his leaving Auburn to suggest that…I guarantee Tomlin doesn’t see that fact the same way…he probably sees it as being so competitive, and believing so much in himself, that he was willing to go anywhere to prove he was a starting QB lol

I mean if your an upper class men who is beat out by a red shirt freshman and a freshman and then turn down a transfer to Virginia tech because they want you as a athlete not a QB so you go to liberty that’s not competitive. It’s different than Levi’s leaving Penn state to KY so he can start. AR2 wants a QB who makes plays within the pocket

I’m just saying, it’s going to be excused in some fashion…either reinterpreTed or excused as as a mistake of youth…lol
