Haskins passing away is sad. No matter how anyone felt about him as a player or whatever, this is tragic. Really tragic.

Everything I’ve seen said he was hit this morning….
It amazes me how bad the media are at their job. After 2 minutes of searching, this incident happened yesterday around 6pm.

There was another pedestrian death in Ft. Lauderdale this morning so either that was where Haskins was involved or the media is very bad at their jobs.

I really had hope for the kid to get a shot and prove he could be a awesome comeback/underdog story… Very sad. I’m not a religious man, but I hope the family finds a way to be at peace.

Authorities said it happened at around 6:37 a.m. on I-595 Westbound, between I-95 North and South, in Broward County.

Traffic homicide investigators were on the scene.

By noon, all lanes had reopened.

The Florida Highway Patrol later identified Pittsburgh QB Dwayne Haskins, 24, as the person who was killed.

That's so weird- why are you walking across a major highway 6am?

Very curious about the details of this tragedy...

Jeez- didn't see these until just now. What an ass

Here is @Gil_Brandt on NFL radio when asked about Dwayne Haskins.
“He was a guy that was living to be dead.”
“It was always something” with Haskins
“Maybe it he stayed in school a year he wouldn’t do silly things [like] jogging on a highway.”

The level of all journalism in America is in the pits. It's truly shocking some of the shit these people say. All any reporter had to say was, "Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins has passed away due to being hit by a vehicle." Done.

Yeah, this is a fire-able statement. Schefter...eh, don't care.

*might be best to give a new title to this thread. Those coming to it now, that haven't seen it before might not realize it's an old title*
