Washington likely doesn’t take a QB now. And the Colts don’t have their first so they would need to trade up for one.

I hope the Wentz pickup means Washington won't be taking a QB in round 1.

It also sounds like Seattle is going to be going after Watson, so they may not be targeting a QB either.

I doubt Washington takes a QB now. Wentz has a fragile enough ego that they won’t want to break it after just spending assets to get him. They will role with Wentz as the starter and Heinicke as his backup

It’s like people didn’t just watch Denver throw entirely to much at a team for a QB because they failed at getting the right guy in position year after year…..after year….after year
yeah who have thought that our 40 yr old banged up washed up QB would retire now? now way we could have planned ahead for that! derp

we could get one of the better ones to fall into our lap

It’s looking like one of Willis or Pickett may fall. Whether that’s good or bad news remains to be seen. There’s still Jimmy G that will definitely be traded and Watson and Love are possibilities.

I'd be surprised if anything happens with Watson till his legal issues are cleared up, and even then, I don't think the Steelers would be interested.

Yeah I should have been clearer. I was thinking more about QB possibilities for other teams. I’ve seen that the Seahawks and Panthers would be interested in Watson things change with him. I definitely don’t think the Steelers would consider him.

Apparently teams have been calling about Watson pretty frequently. If all of the women would have settled he’d probably already be on a team.

I wouldn’t touch him with a 1,000 ft pole, but someone is gonna take him on.

right…I mean no one in charge of NFL organizations really cares what he did to these women…they only care about the optics of ongoing litigation…f**king embarrassment as human beings

Exactly they want to know how many games he will be suspended and will he wave his no trade clause to come to their team

Good. Please no watson.

If watson does go to the panthers, theres maybe 1-2 teams looking for a qb ahead of us in the draft

Washington now has their guy so then taking a QB at 11 is out. I don’t think Seattle takes a QB at 9. Honestly, at this point Carolina and New Orleans would be the two teams that may take a QB. But then again I don’t see Carolina taking a QB at 6 because that would be a pretty big reach. So that would then really only leave the Saints. But there is some talk about them wanting to bring Jameis back so that would then eliminate them from taking a QB at 18.

Watson is elite though.

The team had no moral issues with Ben, so why would they be scared off by Watson.

Seattle loved willis and Howell they will take one of them at 9. Lock will be a place holder nothing more. Carolina still needs a QB and Washington could still go QB since Weintz is a rental with no guaranteed money next year.

Exactly any chance they win a super bowl the next 2 seasons is if they get Watson I believe Mason could get them to playoffs but nothing more
