f*** ya I love me some Omar.
Dude doesn’t play around.
Thought for sure he wouldn’t move DJ after the Jeudy deal.
Good riddance to the cancer.
Agreed. Sounds like we might restructure his contract to bring down that cap hit.
WR class is absolutely loaded this year. Might see 15 guys go first two rounds
The cb coming off an torn achilles, that was bottom five in all coverage stats and Carolina was going to cut
Yeah I'm not saying he's the DJ replacement, that likely comes through the draft. But he's an absolute beast blocker and ST'er. Which is going to be more important this year with the kickoff changes.Mack made 1 million in Atlanta he is a non factor
I think the only issue I have with adding Jackson is that I'm not sold on Porter Jr as a CB1 talent quite yet, so this seems like their top 2 CBs are more of a CB2 and a CB3. That's not bad, and arguably better than what they had last year due to Peterson's regression, but I'd hope for better than that personally.
At the same time, the UFA CB class was pretty weak and started to see names go off the board, so I'm not sure how many better options are available than Jackson.
I mean, any front office football people realize his numbers are more from volume of opportunities than they are due to his talents.Wow. Diontae was worth nothing.
They literally have Muth and GP and nothing else.Thank God. Losing DJ for free would have been addition by subtraction. I can't count how many plays were wasted on him instead of being spread out around the offense.
I'll take the DB depth too.
No he is a very good number 2 but this draft is so deep at wr only 1 fa wr as actually signedI mean, any front office football people realize his numbers are more from volume of opportunities than they are due to his talents.
He's a good #3 slot WR on a good team.
Sick nickname. I'm in.I’m actually a die hard Panthers fan, it’s a long story.
Action Jackson is a good player when healthy. Incredible speed and athleticism. He’s hurt a lot though.
He’ll never be a shut down guy but is a good #2. Once again, when healthy.
Thank God. Losing DJ for free would have been addition by subtraction. I can't count how many plays were wasted on him instead of being spread out around the offense.

Ridley is going back to Jacksonville.Could do a long shot with Calvin Ridley. No clue what kinda contract he’s after. We just need someone solid because no rookie should be trusted immediately to replace 80+ targets.
It's neither a salary dump nor a good asset, the two things I was told we would be accomplish by dumping Johnson. How you blow another hole open in your lineup while getting nothing in return AND adding cap makes zero sense to me.Well that’s infinitely worse. Paying him as well.
The only thing I can see making any sense is an immediate restructure with Jackson to bring that hit down. Cuz essentially using 15+ mil on him is bananas. It's neither a salary dump nor a good asset, the two things I was told we would be accomplish by dumping Johnson.
