NY became a copy cat instead of being innovators. I used to visit NYC yearly up to a few years ago so I've seen the change.

Drake throwing shots at Pusha. maybe it will be a surgical summer pt 2? think he would have learned his lesson after the last round. Weird that after he just got good with Kanye he would do this......but Pusha album is dropping so maybe this was planned to give him some hype? who knows in this industry.

New Pusha is pretty good, pleasantly surprised since I was kinda wary about it. Not on a level of Daytona - or Darkest Before Dawn - The Prelude, for that matter - but that’s fine. Pharrell’s production bit underwhelming, feels like too little variation with ’em. Kanye did his thing, although ”Rock n Roll” was disappointing. Pusha’s not quite as vicious with his voice or rhymes, but it still just sounds good when he goes in.

Best cuts so far are ”Dreamin of the Past” and ”Diet Coke”, although neither of them are on the level of his very best stuff. Former definitely has something special in it though, classic Ye beat. Nice to hear some (No) Malice as well.
