So even the doctors suck then right? Management sucks. coach sucks, owner sucks, players suck? Anything not suck?
I guess the fans suck too then?
The fans are fans.
The medical staff clearly sucks and has for ages. Go back to Lindros and come forward through Couturier's current handling. Tons of nonstop malfeasance because everyone in this org glorifies and festishizes playing through injuries. Mason and Schenn playing through concussions, Simmonds destroying himself as they cheered him on, Couturier destroying himself as they cheered him on, Konecny currently, Lappy playing with brain damage, Richards needing surgery but it being delayed until postseason during which time he just ate painkillers to get through, the endless litany of players coming back too soon and getting reinjured, it's just constant.
Management does suck, yes. That's why the team has had the decade it has had.
The coach sucks, yes. I have thought this since he was in NY and warned against hiring him ever since.
The owner sucks only because they don't have the strength to do what needs to be done; firing everyone with any ties to Clarke and starting over again from scratch. This team is so far gone that folding the franchise and restarting as an expansion would be faster and easier. And they just keep letting it slide deeper.
Some of the players do indeed suck, which reflects upon management valuing players who suck.
What doesn't suck? Well, several players. Michkov, and the fact that unlike other teams they didn't fail to pick him. Loved the Ciernik pick and still do. Love that Tortorella lets dmen be aggressive. Hakstol has shown that it's completely possible for neither forwards nor dmen to be aggressive, so we know things could be worse and aren't.
You don't seem to realize how bad things have been. People still say "ha at least we aren't Buffalo or Columbus or Arizona or Vancouver or Montreal." But we are. We absolutely are. That is the tier the Flyers are in. And hell, the latter three have seen the Conference Finals more recently than the Flyers. And the team has shown no sign of changing. They're continuing all the same processes they've always followed.
