They have a good team. I have watched many of their games. Solid.

I don't think what the analysts say has any bearing on what the Jays will do. As the team stands right now, closer by committee makes the most sense. That could change in a couple days.

AA wasn’t with the team in 2016.

One thing to keep in mind, in 2015 AA knew he was leaving so he didn't care about gutting the farm. Furthermore, that team had a very short window of contention. It's quite different from the current team.

Honestly, what do you expect him to say? We are desperate to find a replacement and hopefully we can get that player at the deadline? You shouldn't expect any other response. If they trade for another closer you'll then hear we wanted to make sure we had someone that could take on the roll with experience and when Jordan is back we'll figure out the rest then.

Everyone tied or beneath them who are in contention are losing, or have lost except for the Yankees and Astros. Mariners are tied. And the Yankees and Astros winning help as they are likely to beat the Os and Rays for us.

A Jays win, and Rays and Os lose tomorrow could mean the Jays would be 3.5 GBs of the division and 2 GBs of Tampa with a 4 game series coming up against Baltimore.
