Not really Vanecek has 4.00 GAA … it’s just the Sharks play the Jets good.
Dallas just put up 8 goals on them just before the break.

These Prime announcers sure seem to like the Jets more than the supposedly Canadian broadcasters at Sportsnet.

Watched the Sharks feed tonight, they threw flowers the Jets way all night long even had a Fefe intermission interview.

Great win, team still looks rusty but was by far the better team tonight. Perfetti had some hard earned board battle wins and Ehlers was dominant. That line is working right now.

Good comeback, crowd went nuts when Morrissey tied it.

It’s crazy how well we’re playing, and even crazier that another team is keeping pace with us the entire way.

Actually imo I think the Jets are not playing as good as before the break.
Their passes are just missing look how many passes they missed on the PP. look at the first shift where Scheifele miss KFC for an easy goal.
I figure by next week the real Jets will show up … those missed passes will turn into sure goals.

Side note: there was a young 20something Sharks fan sitting next to me. He started filming the last minute of the game anticipating a Sharks shut out, he was just crestfallen when Morrissey tied it. I felt a bit bad for him but hey kid, don't get cocky!

Congratulations to Mark Scheifele for becoming the leader in goal scoring for the Thrashers/Jets franchise.

I hope that was the last “Thrashers” record.
It’s Jets …. Jets …. Jets now.
Wow how time flies by … this is Scheifele’s 14th year with the Jets.

Thoughts from where I was sitting:

• Vanacek played well…he kept them in it.
• Sharks did a good job getting sticks in lanes and breaking up O zone scoring chances.
• OT goal aside…Scheif was fighting it a little tonight. Puck was bouncing on him.
• Second line played well. 91 and 27 are developing some chemistry.
• Helle is the best goalie in the league. It’s not even close.
• Refs tried hard not to give the Jets any PP time.
• Celebrini is going to anchor team Canada in a few years….kid is a complete player.
• The beer line is significantly shorter on a Monday!!

Reminded me of the Jets home opener.

A little surprised Celebrini didn't start OT for San Jose.

Even though he was on for both goals I liked Ferraro on the Sharks.

Finding ways to win is a sign of a good team.

Still seem to be missing the cohesiveness they had before the break.
