Pham and Stroman have no more control after this season so the cost shouldn't be outrageous for a 4 month rental. Harvey would cost a bit more because he has 3 years of control, but i'd think the cost would be something around the Barger or Zulueta range more then the Moreno range. Something like White+Barger for Harvey or Zulu+Kikuchi for Stroman I could get on board with. But If we find our selves in position where have to overpay, I wouldn't complain about Atkins standing pat.

Only Nimmala, Shaw, and Goodwin have officially signed. Our other 2 big names Maroudis, and Bohefren have a family member tweeting and an instagram story suggesting they have signed but not official.

Yeah I’d be all over that Zulu Kikuchi trade. Stroman is a big game pitcher, he has playoff experience with us and we wouldn’t have to worry about him going 2-3 times through a lineup in the playoffs unlike Kikuchi where things could easily go off the deep end quickly

I highly suspect Nimmala strongly wanted to play for the Jays and I'd be willing to wager it would have been his top choice if he had one. Not a at all surprised he signed under slot. If not his own desire, certainly his camp would want him here.

Focus on the cards they have some nice pieces Flaherty and O'niell

might be able to be had if the cards do a some sort of panic move

Get your name in first you never know look at the price we paid for donaldson then chapman

Clutch wins by the Rangers and Dodgers. Need both to take their respective series before Rays and O's face each other for 4 this weekend.

As long as the Jays keep rolling this week, they'll gain ground on at least one of them.

More than I figured but it's hard to expect it to be high before we saw Nimmala's number because we had no idea where the money was coming from. Completely good with it. I assume Bohefren come in probably 500k over slot, JWB around slot(do triple letter abbreviated players ever do well for us Btw?), small savings on O'Halloran, and Barry, lots on the 10th round pick and then the extra 5% over should be enough

edit: Including the 5% overage we have slot for rounds 3,5,6,8,10 + $10,485 to spend on our last 5 picks

Bohefren will be significantly overslot, but he's the only one. Won't save much if any on JWB but will get almost all the slot back on Mollerus, should be enough on O'Halloran and Barry to make up for Boherfren. Of course we're talking like this isn't already all figured out which is should be.
