Max Schrezer says he is willing to waive his no trade clause to be moved. He has $43.3M this year and a player option for the same amount. If the Mets are giving him to you for free, you taking it since he is having an off year with a near 4 ERA this year and on pace for just a 3 WAR season and owed $60M+?

I know i am. Short term deal to get a reliable pitcher. With Ryu, Belt and Chapman's $40M coming off, i think Schrezer fits in. Dont need to replace Ryu, probably dont bring back Belt and im pretty sure the Yankees, Mets or Phillies are going to throw money at Chapman the Jays dont touch. So probably have to go young there. Max provides you with some protection for Manoah.

Nothing would butter my biscuits more than seeing Max Scherzer donning a Jays jersey and hurling a lights out playoff performance in front of a sold out Skydome.

You know what gets me. I looked at win loss records from 2011 to present. How does Tampa have 6 seasons of over 90 wins and probably this year as well so 7. The Jays have 3! Look at the salaries too!

He was our jack of all trades......sad to see him go, but it was a happy ending for him.

I'm constantly baffled at just how Tampa is able to have as much success as they have with the way they operate. I'm come to appreciate the way they develop talent and get the most out of guys on a shoestring budget.
