Lucky for you Mark Messier was a winner's winner and delivered you a cup while enjoying every trapping NYC has to offerIt's actually kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. The Rangers have been a loser franchise for their entire history, and being in NY they're able to recruit guys to play there. But the only players they're able to get are also losers who prioritize living in NYC over winning a cup (nothing wrong with prioritizing other things in life btw, but those aren't the guys you'd prefer on your hockey team). So the cycle continues on and on.
just needed half the Oilers roster from the 80s to put them over the top!Lucky for you Mark Messier was a winner's winner and delivered you a cup while enjoying every trapping NYC has to offer
i don't think trotz is a fit in new jersey. You want Barry Trotz's number?
I simply do not see any weaknesses in the Rangers roster this season, they are solid in every department. In my mind they are the best team in the East and only the Avs match them.
Vezina winning goalie in Shestyorkin
Norris winning defender in Fox
Elite 1C in Zibanejad
Elite 1W in Panarin
Great 2C in Trocheck
50 goal scorer in Kreider
Big physical presence in Blais, Reeves, Trouba
Elite young players in Lafreniere, Kakko, Kravtsov
Deadly power play and solid penalty kill
Great coaching by Gallant
Meh, the Rangers are a borderline play off team even now when they’re struggling. They will take off, it’s just a matter of time, the team has a lot of talentThis must be the worst jynx thread ive ever seen
The title of this thread needs to be changed to, Rangers are perfectly built for sucking ass.Meh, the Rangers are a borderline play off team even now when they’re struggling. They will take off, it’s just a matter of time, the team has a lot of talent

I like the Rangers, but Panarin, Zibanejad, Trouba are hardly a "few pieces", they are core pieces. The amount of home grown talent on the rangers is second to none. They built a roster through the draft and added a few pieces.
