Clearly a good team, but far from "perfectly built". Last year they got one of the best goaltending performances in NHL history, which they needed because 5 on 5 they weren't exactly dominating their opponents. When you go from that kind of goaltending to getting just great goaltending, it's gonna make a teams weaknesses stand out.

The Rangers are a perfectly built team this year. If the goal is to draft Bedard, just for him to become a bust for us.

Yay.

The Rangers would be sitting pretty if their amateur scouting department didn't betray the rest of the organization.
Is it their scouting or is it their lack of interest in (and ability to) develop players? I mean it's not like Lafreniere and Kakko weren't consensus picks at the spots the Rangers picked them and they haven't been much better than Kravtsov or Lias Andersson.

I mean they haven't gotten great goaltendning. Shesterkin has been very average and Halak's been awful. Overall their goaltending has been below average this year.

I think they're going on a big run in December. Kids haven't been taking big steps which is disappointing, but then again they didn't do that last year either and they had success.

Losing some of these winnable games hurts, but as long as there are positives in the games it's bound to happen.

Certainly not a perfect team though haha.

If you think about it…Nash, Panarin…list goes on..
Most of the Ranger fans didn’t want Panarin. They were one year from “the letter” that promised a full rebuild. Then on
May 18th 2019 J.D. is hired as President and on
July 1st, 2019 Artemi Panerin signs with the NY Rangers for 11.6 million.
Davidson talks a good game but as far as I can tell he’s never won at the professional level. Neither as a player or an executive.
Glad be rid of him. Trading for Trouba and signing him for $8 million. Then at the 2020 TDL not trading pending UFA’s Kreider, Fast and RFA’s Georgiev and DeAngelo were step backs for a team that was supposed to be in a full rebuild. I guess J.D. never read the letter.
Good riddance. Hope he figures it out after more than 45 years in the industry. I personally don’t receive enjoyment from other teams fans misery.
Go Leafs!
Go Sabres!
Go Canucks!
…for your sake go Jackets. Wish you and your fellow fans enjoyment. Bad Karma and all that aside. Life is cruel enough without any of us adding more to it.
