I simply do not see any weaknesses in the Rangers roster this season, they are solid in every department. In my mind they are the best team in the East and only the Avs match them.

Vezina winning goalie in Shestyorkin

Norris winning defender in Fox

Elite 1C in Zibanejad

Elite 1W in Panarin

Great 2C in Trocheck

50 goal scorer in Kreider

Big physical presence in Blais, Reeves, Trouba

Elite young players in Lafreniere, Kakko, Kravtsov

Deadly power play and solid penalty kill

Great coaching by Gallant

Yes Zibanejad a nd Panarain and Kreider. But you need 6 pöayers for a top 6. Center depth helps too. Elite young players?

You need 3 great to good centers, 4 good wingers, 4 good D and a great Goalie.

The Rangers are far from 'perfectly built' as the OP suggests. They're wildly inconsistent. Last night's game was painful to watch against the Caps. Too often the Rangers have shit the bed at home against bad teams this season.

The Capitals are one of the hottest teams in hockey over the last 10 games or so. They have made the playoffs every year minus 1 season since like 2007. They are also right there with the Rangers in the playoff standings. If Washington is a bad team then the Rangers must not be a good one.

I think theybhaveva good team. They have some really really good players like Panarin , Zinbinejad , Kreider , Fox , Shesterkin etc. They really do have some good players. The fans want a new coaching so im gonna say Gallant might be holding them back someway.

I know i don't care at all what seed they make it. I dont really care that much how they look heading into the playoffs. As long as they make it and are healthy they have a chance. To win it all they need the kids to play even better then last year and panarin needs to be better in the playoffs then 22.

I think the rangers have what takes to win, if they do is another story. Id still like a little more skill/skating in the lineup.

Rangers are a really good team, would not be surprised if they made another deep run. The Chytil breakout has done wonders for their depth.

If this team was in the west they’d cruise through the playoffs. Crazy how much better the East is right now.
