Lol, that would never happen.
Considering how hard he played Jenner, Dubinsky and Foligno up front, it's not out of the realm of possibility.
Lol, that would never happen.

The LSD must be really strong today.Torts is a really good coach and most of the fanbase, other than on this board, would love him.
If the Flyers hire him, then they hired a good coach. With a Philadelphia personality.
Farabee is a high IQ player, as he gets stronger, his ice time will go up.Not Coots, but you really don't think Torts would use Laughton more often than Konecny and Farabee? I absolutely do.
He used a MIGHTILY struggling Foligno more than Laine, Bjorkstrand, and Roslovic in his final season.
Bjorkstrand finished with 44 points in 56 games, Foligno 16 in 42
I don’t think coaches are magicians. If you’re searching for a magician, fine. But you aren’t going to find one.So you are fine with treading water. Some of us fans want to become better than a team that treads water after decades of it.
I don't think they are magicians but I also don't think that a revolving door every 2-4 years is a good thing to have sustained success. Imagine rooting for a team that has the chance at multiple cups rather than a team that treads water and gets one shot every 5 -10 years.I don’t think coaches are magicians. If you’re searching for a magician, fine. But you aren’t going to find one.
Torts has proven he’s a good coach. Hell, he beat Tampa Bay in the last playoff round that team has lost. That’s as close to magic as you’re gonna get.
His being a vet and Farabee being young had a lot to do with that.Laughton already averaged more ES TOI than Farabee this season.
sergeant laughton works harder than lieutenant farabee thats for sure.Laughton already averaged more ES TOI than Farabee this season.
With the old boys club firmly entrenched. Treading water just might be the best outcome we can hope for.So you are fine with treading water. Some of us fans want to become better than a team that treads water after decades of it.
Hence why I gave up season tickets and their calls go to voicemailWith the old boys club firmly entrenched. Treading water just might be the best we can hope for.
Only upside to a Torts hire is the Carchidi interactions.

Us? I’m a Canes fan now.Why do they keep doing this to us, Flyman?

Isn't Sam not as active?
Come on, man. The one thing we've agreed on over the years. Don't bail on me now.i wonder if Torts would live under the old boys regime thou..
i just dont see Torts fiery temper sittin with that weight over his head..
and i wouldnt blame him... as much as ive always wanted Torts here, theres never been a worse time/roster for him to coach..
the timing is just horrific, so of course its prolly gunna happen

Healthy Couturier, healthy Hayes immediately make the team much better. Ellis is a wildcard, but obviously he would, too.sorry, but this seasons roster is going to be epic dogshit... worse then last, hell we wont even start with Rooos production, let alone least have most of a seasons worth..
Fletch isnt capable of getting someone of Roos caliber....
Unless they hire a jackass coach that makes the goalies explode.Healthy Couturier, healthy Hayes immediately make the team much better. Ellis is a wildcard, but obviously he would, too.
Frost sure as hell better take a step up. Tippett, too.
They'll sign a UFA.
Hart should improve, and Fedotov is backing him up.
York will take a step up.
They aren't going to be worse than this season.
