Not really, I certainly have been wrong plenty but I've also been right plenty of times (Gustaffson, Hyka, Ericcson, that Ghost for Mantha trade would have been nice, and so forth and so on). I'm right on board with the shitty job that Fletcher etc. has done and think they are awful. And as I said in the original post, it is easy to call whomever they pick the wrong choice because the odds are deeply stacked against whomever we hire. So yes I am certain that in five years you will pull up this post and say "See Torts was the wrong choice!" but you can almost assuredly switch out Torts' name with anyone and it will be the same thing.

You are once again bringing up discussions that you misunderstood despite having them explained to you repeatedly.

The problem, always, wasn't any individual player; but rather the process driving the decisions. What they represent. And we have been right every time on that front.

He is AV 2.0. Did you learn nothing from his tenure? His system/style, combined with Chuckles incompetency, is not going to turn this into a winning program. The league needs to move on from these fossils.

AV (a veteran coach with a winning record, maybe a different version of AV) made sense in 2019-20, G and Voracek were getting older, Ghost was breaking down, it was either go for it or start rebuild 2.0. They went for it, it worked one year, then it imploded.

Now it would make no sense, your veteran core is Ellis, Couts, Hayes and Atkinson. Rest of the team will be 26 and under except Laughton and Risto.

They don't have the money to sign 2 or 3 high profile FAs, so at best a Dino HC can only tread water for a year or two.

Hart should improve, and Fedotov is backing him up.

They aren't going to be worse than this season.

Hayes will be a healthy scratch under Torts by Xmas
