Yeah it is really sad! The only one that’s busting their ass for him is Nylander. He promised Nylander he wouldn’t trade him and stuck by his word…. so far.

Marner for injured Eichel. Just do it. I’m willing to take a risk on Eichel after surgery than continue with Marner.

This team is cooked

We’ve only reduced our overall skill level since 2016.

And heart. This team had soooo much potential in 2016-17. It’s painful to see it completely torn apart, gutted, with no way to actually improve.

Dubas has to stick to his guns because he literally has no choice. You can’t improve this lineup without a major change. There’s no space.

We should have never surrendered a single first round pick until we had won a couple of rounds. We have limited talent coming into the lineup.

Not a good look this year so far.

I like Dubas as a person and think his personality is great.

However, as he GM, he has no idea how to build this team into a cup contender and unfortunately, time is running out for him to prove his worth.

And I'm the furthest thing from a Dubas fan.

The way that he went to bat for the core of this lineup in the summer when he doubled down and said that he's going to run it back and he believes in this team and he got racked over the coals for it. And this is how they repay him?

What a bunch of pathetic losers.
Dubas isn't without fault but this is completely on the players. This team should be talented enough to beat anyone if they played their positions well and actually played like they give a shit. They are professional hockey players ffs. Its not on the coach or the GM for you to show up and compete. Look at Pitt tonight. Their best player is Jake Guentzel and they are embarrassing us.

Auston and Mitch always talk about how they have to be better and this and that but how many times do they have to go through adversity to figure it out? This group is incredibly frustrating.

Good chance he is fired learns fron his mistakes and does well with his new team. It'a what is normal for us.
Dubas is sadly on his last strings. Overall he's been fine but this is all because of that Marner contract we are in this position.
This is all on the players. Your GM believes in you to a crazy amount, you get the coach you want and this is the way you respond.

Honestly Dubas and Keefe should just quit their jobs because they are ruining their own careers with these heartless players.

He's the one that has picked the players, given them 100% security no matter what and bent over for every one of their demands.

Maybe if he had nuts this team wouldn't be full of entitled no effort p***yes

Same old story. Moneypuck doesn’t work in the NHL. You need guys with heart in a lineup of multimillionaires.

Hyman>Marner in terms of value to a team.

Until Marner is traded this team will go nowhere.

Fire Dubas. Should have been done right after that playoff collapse last year, should still be done now.

Dude inherited maybe the most promising young Leafs core of all time, and a great cap situation. Absolutely butchered our ability to compete by signing JT, Marner and Matthews to brutal contracts. Builds teams with no heart. 3 straight seasons without a single playoff series win, and the team looks absolutely TERRIBLE right now.

Better late than never - fire him tonight.

Imagine putting your career on the line for this core.
Imagine this is the way they respond to you doing it.
Not once, but twice.
Decimated by an AHL team, embarrassed by a Zamboni driver, unable to win a round 5 times and counting, hanging your own teammates out to dry, etc.

What’s the definition of insanity again? I have to question the sanity of management.

Kyle biggest downfall was the statement when he was a new general manager . Negotiations are nasty and I don’t want to do that to my peeps . Lmao does he think the players don’t watch TV I wish I could find a video
