I can’t imagine those two on this team right now. Obviously talented, but so damn lazy. Richardson would hate them.

Kubalik is not lazy, and never has been. Putting him in the same sentence with Strome is stupid.

We’ll have to disagree. Dude was straight dogging it last year. Not being as lazy as Strome isn’t exactly a high bar.
I disagree. He plays a more “euro” style and his role offensively is as a sniper.
He (to me) was accountable defensively but his style of play doesn’t lend itself to hitting or physical play nor is he the guy digging pucks out of corners so he doesn’t stand out as a positive.
I thought he did his job well and never stopped working but his scoring went into the dumpster.

Kubalik was not great his rookie year or looking this year because he's a sniper role... I constantly don't get why people label him that and forget the legit ways he scored.
When he was good and scoring he crashed the net and got deflectiosn and rebound goals a bunch. Somehow people act like he got 30 goals by sniping a bunch, but most those goals were by being an inside body, not from sniping.and he stopped doing that, he didn't do it at all last year until after the trade deadline when he had a hot wave.

It was BS that I didn’t call Kane out I’m guessing. He’s hated him even in the cup days. That’s BS.

Nice try. The BS was you or anyone calling Kubalik a one-trick pony. I say he is more than that and he is on his way to proving it in Detroit.
Hawks have been so inept in the recent past, dissing individuals on such a mismanaged team with no direction and no coaching is far too easy.

Kubalik was a no show for the hawks last year and I am glad he is gone. That said he appears to have some chemistry with Larkin and might have a decent year for the Wings. Good for him but he was not cutting it here. I would rather have players like Lafferty, Dickenson, and Tinordi who bust their arses every shift then a more talented player who is coasting.

Apparently Hartman is out long term after that fight with Tinordi. I still think it’s his shoulder the way he grabbed at it, with a slight chance of tearing his pec.

Kirby was never going to figure it out in Chicago. If it happened, it wasn't going to be here. Same as with Teravainen. Just chalk it up to that.
If Kirby becomes a good player just forget that he was ever here, as hard as that is for a former 3rd overall pick. I still believe in Nazar and Hayes wasn't a bad gamble either. Kinda liked that pick.

Idk how you can say that about Teuvo. Ad especially it fit best for both to settle at wing. Dach has only really again looked good at wing besides Susuki.
Always making Teuvo a center or lw was weak for him, yet had they kept him that next year, he easily could of played rw with Toews cause that was the year Hossa dropped to 3rd line and opened that role up.
