Hogberg appeared to get injured on one of the last plays in regulation so Ilya Sorokin steps in for OT and as a result is credited as the goaltender of record despite only making one save. Wonder if he buys Hogberg a nice dinner or a new goalie mask or something because that is light work

These types of stats always brings up the easiest win for a goalie ever, I think Richard Bachman has this on lock, on March 29, 2013 Dallas was tied with the Wild 2-2, and Minnesota took 2 penalties, giving Dallas a 2 minute 5 on 3. Lehtonen had a skate issue so he went off the ice to fix it and was replaced by Bachman. Dallas scored on both penalties of the 5 on 3 to take a 4-2 lead and after the 2nd powerplay goal Lehtonen came back. Dallas would add another to go up 5-2, but Minny would score a last minute goal to make it a 5-3 final. Because Bachman was the goalie when the GWG went in, he got the win playing 2 minutes making zero saves without the puck even entering his zone.

And then you have another goalie that stops something like 20 shots in 55 minutes and doesn't get the shutout because he didn't play the entire game.

On a sidenote. How is Högberg looking? He has played in my hometown team over here in Sweden for the last couple of years(and quite a few prior to that further back) and I have always been convinced he can be/could have been a legit #1 in the NHL. He has had so horrible defensive teams in front of him here and, more or less, solo won us many games.

He’s looked really good. He’s huge and super athletic. Been excellent since Varlamov injury. The isles broadcast was even saying because of his strong play and some injuries to Sweden goalies he might get a look at team Sweden for the 4 nations.
