They moved Kirby to wing in Montreal. Of course he's going to put up points riding shotgun with Suzuki and Caulfield. Good for him on contributing on that line though. He's looked great with them.

de Haan was soooo terrible and wasn't good enough to play for Hawks according to Pez and many of his disciples. He had to be the worse Dman in the NHL and it wasn't even close .... but somehow he is playing a regular shift for Canes, a Cup contender.... hmmm

At 12 minutes a night and by the same visual standards he's just at the same level.

Not sure what kinda point you think it is that a bad dman is a 3rd pair guy on a good team? Like do you think the 3rd pair of every Hawks cup winner were good players?

Bottom pairing, like 10 minutes a night, and he still looks f***ing terrible.

What is wrong with you?

We could have been so happy together Kubalik. Remember you Dach and Saad on a line together? How could you do this to us?

Though they are obviously not up there with Mikita, Hull, Tony O, etc. I am still rooting for ex Hawks like Strome, Kubalik, etc and follow the box scores hoping they got a point or two.

Yes, like most I had doubts but I thought Dach deserved more time as a Blackhawk- he could have matured into being a significant contributor to the rebuild. He could have still been dealt at a later date if necessary.

And Kubalik: I liked him more than most Hawks fans. I think the lazy label is wrong and to give him away for nothing was ridiculous. Stevie Y gladly snatched him up quickly as a part of Wings rebuild.

I am still a Kubalik fan and still think he's capable of 40 goals if used properly.
