So many good young players on this team. Frankly good is an understatement for at least a couple of them.

Zach Wilson is not on that list. I’m not here to trash him by any means but he gets an incomplete from me so far. Don’t forget Mark Sanchez looked pretty good for a while and we know how that worked out.

Last observation and lament. Just imagine if the Jets picked Josh Allen instead of Sam Darnold.

Things are looking up in Jets land. I can’t wait till they take on the Pats.

I have to agree, but you can tell they are bringing him along slowly. Garret Wilson's rookie of the year dream is over and the other receivers will probably end up with unimpressive numbers too. He's learning to manage the game and not throwing picks, but eventually he'll need to hit his receivers more.

Josh Allen would be out of the league. Without a solid HC (McDermott), OC (Daboll), a steady offensive line, a #1 WR (Diggs) and a good defense.....there would no way Josh Allen would have progressed the way he did if he had been drafted by the Jets in 2017.

That’s a harsh take on the Jets’ historical developmental skills. Hard for me to argue with it though.

True, he’s had great support from the Bills coaching staff and Jim Kelly also gave him some helpful advice. Saying that I think Josh would have made elsewhere. maybe not to the extent he has in Buffalo, it was a perfect storm. New Coach/GM and a city that Allen fits like a glove. One more key this year. Von Miller, not only on the field but off of it. His positivity is just infectious. You never feel too good being a Bills fan. But this is as close as it gets to the ultimate if you are one. If miller is correct that odb jr is coming. Then allen will be truly unstoppable IMO

Tom Brady left his 1st wife and kid for Giselle. He left Giselle and his next 2 kids for football.

The Bucs are losing at HT to the woeful Carolina Panthers with some tool named PJ Walker at QB and some other guy whose name is not McCaffrey at RB

Maybe Tom's decision making needs a little refurbishment

So this is what the Jets offense will look like without B. Hall.

Word has it as an ACL. He's done. Unbelievable

If Von Miller is correct, OBJ is going to be a Bills Receiver this year, even most Bills fans like myself that have lived through close but no Cigar, will believe this may be Buffalo's year after all. I love Von's positivity, Ignorance is bliss when he is asked about 13 seconds, "I wasn't here".

Poor kid, awful for him and the team. Next man up, Michael Carter...
Yeah, that really hurt. Just goes to show why RBs are drafted late in the draft. You can get a super talented player, but surviving the licks they'll inevitably take is improbable. Jets have enough skill at RB to survive it.

Sauce Gardner, otoh, stays clean most of the game. I can't even imagine what opposing WRs think going against a 6'3" defender with that kind of footwork. Just seeing that a couple of times is a deterrant. And then they throw it at Reed, and the ball needs to be thrown in the right spot to beat him. The Jets secondary is unrecognizable compared to last year.

Zach Wilson is turning into a problem. Throwing behind + high will get receivers killed. If the window is too tight for his accuracy, he's got to get the ball down. I dunno if it's just a bad habit throwing off the back foot, or something else.

Tom Brady left his 1st wife and kid for Giselle. He left Giselle and his next 2 kids for football.
His trajectory is Giuiani-esque.

If only we knew what the result would have been had that pick-6 stood and the Jets go up 16-3 or 17-3 instead of 10-6. Huge swing there which decided the game. Perhaps the Jets blow out the Pats?

The Pats adjusted after that and Z, Wilson was under constant duress and resorted to his throw it up with a prayer approach. It seems the kid cannot handle pressure. He gets bored throwing the ball away and tries to turn the impossible into a miracle over and over again.

This team did not deserve such a fate. However, this loss was all self inflicted and desperation ensued with Pats pressure and adversity.

I think the coaching staff is severely challenged and over their head in developing QBs. It is only game 18 for this kid but he does not have a coaching staff that will help him or he doesn’t have it in him to learn (not sure), so expect much of the same and ultimately a bust. Hope I am wrong.

Prediction: a loss to the Bills and a benching in favor of Mike White. We’ll see.

Z. Wilson is the problem with this team right now. It's not just the interceptions, it's the missed easy 1st down throws that keeps the D off the field for a little longer. He bails on his O-line so early. And he's got to stop with the spin-move. If he'd just shuffled, and then sprinted forward he'd have been able to make positive yards instead of bailing back 10 yards + hucking it.

I think the immediate instinct to spin outside the pocket and the failure to throw the ball away when he is under pressure can potentially be fixed.

I’m more worried about his accuracy on the routine throws. Routine to me are not just the throws with zero pressure but the ones where there’s what I would term a minor amount of pressure. Those are the bread and butter throws a top flight QB makes the majority of the time.

I’ve consistently graded his progress as an incomplete even during their recent winning streak. I’m not ready to bail on him but this past week’s performance flat out sucked.

I think the two things are connected. I think he's already halfway bailing on those 'routine' throws, which is why they sail.

ZW's postgame comments including the word "bored" show immense immaturity, especially after those "throwaways" or whatever you'd like to call them.

Kid has all the talent in the world but he can't outgrow the childish mistakes. Severely disappointing.

So....you're saying that if Zach Wilson just plays average - unspectacular - we can compete (and beat) with anyone? This feels really weird.

Will be interested to see what the Oline looks like in 2 weeks. We'll have Fant and Mitchell back. Herbig seems like a keeper at Guard for now. Will be interesting to see who goes in at RT.

Really looks like the coaching staff + Wilson were seeing all the same stuff. The play where he brough the ball down, and ran up the hole between his LT & LG was an excellent sign. He's got to do that way more often than spinning away from trouble. At worst he runs into a sack, at best he gets the first down -like he did. Otoh, what good QB hasn't gotten strip-sacked by Von Miller? No shame there.

Their LB & DB corps are so much better than in years past - and a lot of it is positional stuff (although the talent at CB is so much better). Win or lose, it's enjoyable to watch a team that is being coached with intelligence.
