lol
lmao even.

If the Jets win tonight they win the division and are 5 ahead of the Caps will have a game in hand, Jets will have the upper hand for the Presidents Trophy and might be time for the Jets to rest a few players
Simply going to extra time tonight clinches the Central & the West for the Jets.

As for the Presidents Trophy, the Jets won't have a a game in hand, rather Washington will. Washington had a game in hand prior to todays loss. As of now each have played the same number of games, but yes a win over Chicago has the Jets at 114 pts & would be a single point away from the Presidents Trophy.

So a win tonight & any subsequent Capitals loss OR the Jets taking taking either of their final two games to OT will guarantee our boys first overall.

I’d like to see the Jets clinch 1st place before resting players. Then guys like Ehlers and others should be rested. Likely what they’ll do.
With how bad the Stars have looked and how good the jets looked without Ehlers I think they can take Chicago and reduce the chances of a freak accident hurting our playoff opportunity. I mean, Ehlers and Helly are the only players I am worried about wrapping in bubble wrap.

Poor wording by me should of put who after the Caps, right about the tie though

Not an Oilers fan but I do pay more attention to them than the average non-Jets team. It's hard to overstate how bad this is for them.
No kidding the Oilers took a big hit losing him ... imo he is their best defenceman.
People don't realize how many things have to go right to get to the final ... injuries is #1.

So nice of the Stars and the Caps to shit the bed in the last 2 weeks of the season to give the Jets a comfy path to the President's Trophy.

Also, I don't think that they take the foot of the gas until they get it. I'm sure the players want that accomplishment.
