and when this game gets out of hand you will know who to blame...

Looking like it will be the Blues.

Still one more game to go for Minny and St. Louis and both games are on Tuesday. Blues have Utah and Wild have Ducks. Blues might have the tougher matchup on paper but both of those teams will be playing for pride.

It could go either way honestly. We won't truly know who we face until Tuesday.

Yea both the Ducks and Utah are capable of winning those games.

Pretty sure they’ll be good to go come game 1. Stars are going to get slaughtered the way they’re playing. Their round 1 may look similar to the Jets/Avs matchup last spring.
I'm not so sure. The Stars have been pressing hard for a long time to try to catch the Jets and they've had a very heavy schedule. I wonder if they just ran out of steam and might be ramped up for the playoffs.

The main issue is their defense. I really wonder whether they can withstand the speed of the Avs forwards without Heiskanen.

You can imagine if we took that series and with our magic wand added Heiskanen and subtracted Makar. Instantly Dallas becomes the favorite. Its allot to over come the loss of a top 10 D man in the NHL. That being said Dallas are pretty experienced with deep runs in the playoffs. I just think any D core with Ceci and Dumba feels a bit flawed.

Yeah outside Harley, who's a youngin and Lundell that's a pretty underwhelming group.

I was playing hockey with an avs fan and he was worried about their d corps too

Also, Oettinger might give the Stars an edge in goal. Blackwood has been good for the Avs but I'm not sure he's as secure in goal.

Love Harley’s mobility and skill with the puck. He is a hell of a young D man, reminds me of Samberg with a bit more offense. Jake could easily be the difference in this series if he gets warm. Both teams have their holes but who doesn’t in the NHL.

All I know is I am very glad they get to kick the shit out of each other. In saying that the Blues are excellent so it’s not like we have an easy path. Welcome to the NHL playoffs.
