Not that I ever have high expectations for these middling round guys but what are they doing? This FO is trash.

If ASP and Danielson hit, then this is a pretty successful draft. Obviously there were plenty of names people here wanted, but if your two 1st rounders hit, can we really be this upset?

Starting to reflect and remain positive, sue me.

I. Just. Don't. Understand...
I can rationalize the 1st round, but day 2 has been puzzling to say the least.

I don’t understand the philosophy. Finding a solid 6th D through FA or waivers to complete a roster costs very little. Yet they’ve drafted 4 defenseman, who if they hit their ceiling, will fill that last pairing role. These picks need to be high risk, high upside players. Having size doesn’t give you potential if you score 5 points in the USHL as an overager.

It's 5th round peeps. No one drafted here is gonna be exciting.

There's a wide gap between "exciting" and "it would be shocking if a guy becomes an AHL regular"

few picks later and the Penguins pick a non overager forward who was almost PPG in the MHL and had two points in 21 games in the KHL
