That game is on Ned. We dominated them, didn’t allow really any great scoring chances from them and Ned f***ing choked in the 3rd period while Vasy upped his game. Put Mrazek in.

I get it was a softy but like how do we even know that Mrazek would even fair this well to keep it a tie game midway through the third? I get saying it’s Mrazek time is the knee jerk reaction, but I’d be more upset with run support. Expecting your rookie goalie to outduel a Vezina winner/reigning cup champs to keep you in this game beyond like the 5/6ths point of the matchup seems a bit much.

This is what makes Tampa so difficult. It's not reasonable to expect Ned to hold them to 1, but how many goals do you expect to score on Vasilevsky?

meh. Takes 4 wins to win a series and we went 4-4 with them this year. Tampa's the defending champs for a reason, but this shit's a LONG way from over.

You just can’t allow a goal like that in the 3rd period of a tie game, that was absolutely putrid. Mrazek may not be better but he’s had stretches of insanely good play and can duel Vasy. Can’t be any worse than that one Ned let in.

IDK what this team could have done to play better tonight. Can't be upset with the effort. It is what it is. You can criticize Ned for that one goal but what about those other great saves.
