Nice trade. Now give Pearson a pickle jar. If he can open it by himself, he may be of some value.
Tomas Plekanec is probably the most successful Habs 3rd rounder of the 21st century.
Followed by Yannick Weber, I think.
So he's waiving Allen?
To be cap compliant before putting Price on LTIR.What does Allen have to do with Pearson?
A lousy third? For 3.5m caphit? I'd rather have the extra 3.5m caproom.
Ah the famous Alzner test!Nice trade. Now give Pearson a pickle jar. If he can open it by himself, he may be of some value.
To get cap compliant before Price is put on LTIR, besides the waiver-exempt players, tough choices need to be made. What does Allen have to do with Pearson?
I can garantee you there there will have injuries in the forward groupe when where gonna be at the 1st game of the yearlmao how many forwards is this team gonna ice, i guess no forward prospects are making the team this year (or at the very least at the start)
got a feeling Armia or Allen are getting moved tho, Armia would be the easier of the 2 (we have 1 spot left for a contract retention)
After last year, I think Hughes realizes sometimes circumstances (like last years multiple injuries) can change a team’s plans pretty quickly, sometimes it’s better to take the deal you have, rather than wait for the deal that may never materialize.
Especially when you’re dealing with an asset that’s not in high demand.
Show me how we are not further away from being able to get cap compliant than before the trade.

Indeed that is Kent's goal. He even lied and blamed that desire for the terrible Petry to Detroit deal.I would assume Price is going on LTIR. But some are saying we can get under the cap even without putting Price on LTIR.

But now, after absorbing the Pëtry retention, and taking on Pearson's salary, we can no longer get cap compliant without waiving a valuable player or one of those useless vets we seem to be sworn to protect.
The Petry trade was because Hughes didn't want someone here who didn't want to be here. Otherwise he would have hung on to Petry as an asset and not traded him when his value was so low.Indeed that is Kent's goal. He even lied and blamed that desire for the terrible Petry to Detroit deal.

All this thread for THIS. People should stop posting on this thread TBH because YOU understand.
