Yup. Foote holding Kampf along the boards directly gave Paul an open lane to freely leave his zone and then evidently score. Goal should have been called back and Foote receive a penalty.

You do realize Lightning fans think the Leafs were favored by the refs?

It’s hockey. Lots of potentially close calls so every fan base always thinks they get the short end of the stick. We can make a nice video of all the stuff the leafs got away with. The Leafs got a total phantom of a call to give them a PP in the 3rd last night. And they got away with as much as what you think the Bolts got away with

Up 3-2 in the Series. Up 3-2 in G6. Lose at home in G7.

Maybe not a stereotypical choke, but not good. Not good at all.

The reality is the Bolts should have won in 6. They had 2-0 leads in both G5 and G6.

Kudos to the Leafs for fighting back but the Leafs were chasing the Bolts nonstop the last 4 games

Of course they do. But at least I gave some examples with proof.

Like I said every fan base thinks the refs are out to get them.
It doesn’t make it any more true than the other conspiracy theories that many believe in.
A more plausible explanation is that the Leafs need to play more disciplined in the playoffs. I thought as the series went on the players showed more maturity and played much more disciplined.
I quite literally said I don’t think the refs were put the get them. You’re not here for conversation you’re here to scream into your echo chamber the equivalent of ‘nuh uh’

A “pick” is the action of a player who checks an opponent who is not in possession of the puck and is unaware of the impending check/hit. A player who is aware of an impending hit, not deemed to be a legal “battle for the puck,” may not be interfered with by a player or goalkeeper delivering a “pick.” A player delivering a “pick” is one who moves into an opponent’s path without initially having body position,

It was a super weak call that cost them the game.
Leafs are always at a disadvantage at home or on the road with the refs.
Wait…the Leafs crowd literally called a penalty in this series

And that's it. Leafs are made examples of. Everyone is watching them.
It’s, strange. At a minimum. But I can’t say I envy the job of the refs in a Toronto series so from a human standpoint I do get it

You mean the one that should’ve been called in the first place, correct? Can opener with the stick between his feet?

If Kampf has your reach than maybe you're right.
Foote is holding Kampf along the boards and that illegal play allowed Paul to freely exit his zone without any trouble at all, which allowed him to score.
I'm just pointing this out because Tavares's goal was called back and I don't understand how one is allowed over the other.

Both high sticks happened. You still had all of OT your team failed stop blaming the refs for your teams failures. I can point out a lot of shit the leafs got away with but I don’t I blamed my team for playing poorly.

No one knows how the series would have turned out.

But the kampf high stick absolutely did not happen. He hits him in the shoulder. Not the face. It’s been proven.

This does not mean that Tampa wouldn’t have scored without that. But it didn’t happen.

Facts are that Tampa did get away with 3 clear penalties on goals.

The series winner was scored when the Tampa player literally grabs muzzins stick. He is turning to try to stop Paul and he has no stick.

Paul might have scored anyway. It’s impossible to know. But facts are facts

Of course they do. But at least I gave some examples with proof.

The phantom Palat call in the third? The no call when Paul drove the net?

And of course the absolute worst call of the series was when Paul got tripped into the boards, then a Leaf player decides to skate through the guy they just tripped… and they gave Paul a penalty

Either way we can go round and round

I disagree. They were up 3-2 in the series. If they were down 3-1 and clawed back, it would be different. All they had to do was win one of two games, and they didn’t. They have something to be ashamed of here.

When the leafs were down 3-1 to Boston and crawled back did you feel the same?

For sure. But I'm showing one that led to a goal, whereas Tavares's goal was called back. Why was one goal allowed over the other? That's a direct impact on the game. It affected the scoreboard.
