I saw the highlights.
Nobody pays me to watch a full game between two non-contenders

And that’s where your credibility for every post you ever make should crumble.

In what other profession, hobby, or interest does someone not go out of their way to see the best perform their craft and actually be proud to admit their ignorance?

I can only watch best vs best nowadays. Not best vs pretty average kings.

If the oilers miraculously reach the final, then I'll gladly watch them

You realize half the league has NEVER won right?
It's not just about winning. Toronto hasn't even been a threat. Only Columbus and Arizona (and Seattle) have never been to the finals. Toronto last made the finals 55 years ago. Fifty-five. In all that time, they only once got within a game of making it. They have not been a contender, at all. For a team with unlimited budget and every possible advantage, that is absolutely pathetic.

A “pick” is the action of a player who checks an opponent who is not in possession of the puck and is unaware of the impending check/hit. It was a super weak call that cost them the game.
Leafs are always at a disadvantage at home or on the road with the refs.

  • Haha
Reactions: stampedingviking
Refs miss calls, every game, against both teams. Complain for a few minutes and then move on like everyone else. Unless there was a blatant call that decided the game, move on before you give yourself an ulcer.
Yes, refs miss calls, every game, against all teams.
And yes, there were blatant calls that did decide the game. Sorry if you don't like hearing that.

Like Foote holding Kampf along the boards could have been called and then Paul's goal would not have happened.

good teams overcome bad calls. ex: 2019 blues vs san jose. loser teams cry about them into the offseason and for years to come.

P.S. the officiating has been bad for every team this postseason and did not in any way cost the leafs the series. they got BEAT by a BETTER team.
