It’s more intelligent and informed than blaming the refs for losing games 6 and 7.
That’s not ‘analysis’. That’s whining.

Refs effect outcomes.

They gave the benefit of the whistle to the Bolts both overall in general and specifically in crucial elimination game scenarios.

It is what it is.

Ignoring it doesn't mean it's not true.

Other fanbases have low expectations when winning A SINGLE PLAYOFF ROUND has been described as "slaying the dragon" by virtually your entire fanbase and media?

A single round! Slaying the dragon!

A SINGLE ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy for you that you got to celebrate winning a round in the playoffs. I'm sure you look at your playoffs series win banners with pride and awe.

A lame and juvenile response young Zeke. Take a timeout and come back when you’re less emotional.

Refs matter.

Pretending they don't is silly.

We all know the Bolts benefitted from the whistle this series, and we all know why some are so intent to ignore that.

Toronto would have opened next year's home opener with a Matthews statue if Toronto had won last night. f*** outta here

Anything but a cup for this team is a failure.

Let’s not forget the Bolts scored first the last 4 and 5/7.

Leafs PP was atrocious

The longer the series went the more it became clear the TBL were superior, albeit not by much

If anything it should have been Bolts in 6.

Both teams can complain about the refs. Palat had the phantom hook as a prime example

Close series. Toronto's losing streak in elimination games is absolutely mythical at this point. I hope for Steve Dangle's sake that they get a muffin matchup next year and sweep it. As fun as it's been to watch Toronto flounder, it's become sad at this point.

Disagree. Leafs benefited from the refs in G7 as an example. The phantom Palat call was huge. The pick play was obvious, it’s not even a debate

Score one goal but the goalie is the issue. Fans must look to complain these days.

I find it so weird that Fans hate other teams or care if others lose.

What difference does it make if your team didn’t win….. every year a team wins the cup. Like it or not. It’s really kinda sad.

Beyond that. Toronto has lost the benefit of the doubt with last years out. If they had went on a run and then got beat here it would be a different story.

As far as the series goes. I mean. The leafs were the better team for most of it. Tampa fans would have to acknowledge that. Leaf fans have every reason to be upset

The game 6 fake high stick.
The ridiculous “pick”call only to not call the holding on Paul’s goal.

The reffing was ridiculous. But that is no gaurantee the leafs would have won.

Leaf fans have every right to be mad about the series officiating and confused about what to do next.

Personally. I want Tampa to 3 Peat.
