Thompson is a little bit of a hot/cold player anyway. Sometimes it just feels like everything goes in for him. Other times he generates great chances and can’t buy a goal.

Which is valuable context. OP didn't make any sweeping judgements about him being done as an NHLer or anything of the sort.

Speaking as a fantasy owner, I've definitely been considering whether or not to keep him. I'll take your word for it that these 6 games are not indicative of anything.
