Oh yes. Happy to see that after McDavid got away with the boarding on Hyman at the end of the third.
Yessir!

Playing the guy who has a .903 SV% since March of 2019 over the hot hand is a bold strategy, Cotton. There’s no time in a 56 game season for Andersen to figure it out again.IMO, Andersen will start as soon as he is considered healthy
I missed this one celebrating my Pops 60th! We ended up spending most of the night outside/in the garage because, well f*** you know. We’re both diehards, and couldn’t believe the score line when we saw. Huge come back and a bunch of slump busters! Engvall, Tavares, Nylander and of course boy wonder!
Dad’s got the game recorded and is probably watching it as I type this. I’m not as fortunate - anyone know a place I can re-watch the entire 60? If you could drop me a PM it would be hugely appreciated!
Go Leafs Go!!!
No way MJ could have pulled off that drop pass

Maybe Tavares takes the draws and Galchenyuk plays center? That way JT can play Left wing and Nylander RW. A lot to ask of Galchenyuk but he's surrounded by a seasoned vet and another high skill player.I'm curious how the 2nd line would look if Nylander and Tavares switch C/W.
I knew all along Galchenyuk would be a fit with JT and Nylander. His sheer skill and skating improvements and playing bigger has been tremendous. 36 hits in his last 25
games dating back to his stint in Minny. He wants to play and now he has a team to get the most out of him.

Yeah. Nylander and Galchenyuk can both skate and have better zone entries then JT. Let them carry it and cycle it to JT and let him make plays with it. The line certainly has the most interesting combo and skillset.I mostly just want Tavares carrying the puck less and focusing more on finding soft spots on the ice and using his shot. Should keep his legs fresher too.
I have complained about Andersen since we lost to the Caps.... IMO, Cambpell is just a backup but I could be wrong and feel free to bookmark this and make me eat my wordsHope not! I wanna win! Campbell is our guy!
You’re wrong. Bookmarked.I have complained about Andersen since we lost to the Caps.... IMO, Cambpell is just a backup but I could be wrong and feel free to bookmark this and make me eat my words
I think you are right.IMO, Andersen will start as soon as he is considered healthy
He won’t be considered healthy unless Campbell struggles.IMO, Andersen will start as soon as he is considered healthy
Over the years the only successful keepers we ever had were those that stood on their heads. This organization year in year out fails miserably at team defense. Look no further than Carolina with James Reimer .907 Save% with a 13-4 record. Is he any better than Andersen?Playing the guy who has a .903 SV% since March of 2019 over the hot hand is a bold strategy, Cotton. They need to acquire another goalie because Andersen has shown that he’s no longer good enough, and Campbell despite his season is a question mark. I don’t think anyone believes Andersen is the goalie that takes them deep in the playoffs when he’s flat out regressed the past two seasons.

Last year we had Barrie with countless bonehead giveaways, This year JT leads that charge. It is time to remove players that can't or won't play defense. Our goalies are flopping around on the ice all too often, then the commentators, tells us that is their style. LOL....i think the jury is still out. If Reimer can lead Carolina to the Stanley Cup final then yes. IMHO Reimer is a better goaltender and team mate (Campbell is a lot like Reimer in that respect). He didn’t get the credit he deserved while in Toronto. Most of the blame for game 7 was placed solely on him even though he outright stole games 5 & 6 and was instrumental in getting the Leafs to their first postseason in over a decade. The Bernier trade and Reimer’s demotion was salt to the wound
you think they will make healthy Andersen sit, I dunno about that, I dont think Freddy would like that ... huge risk by DubasHe won’t be considered healthy unless Campbell struggles.
I have a zero confidence in freddy winning a playoff series even at his peak level, Dubas is in a jam right now, with this goalie situationi have more confidence in Hutch, Woll, or Vilain than Andersen (who would be playing with an injured body and impaired confidence)
