Straight up, pissing away the puck in the neutral zone to allow TO to get within a goal was frustrating as hell. Kahun has been garbage all season around the blue lines, taking the puck back into his own zone instead of getting it out and tonight not getting the puck in deep.

We hate the Tkachuk's and most Flames players like Gio much, much more, the only beef Oilers fans have with Matthews is hearing how he's on McDavid's level as a player from the media and some Leafs fans. Other than that and his trou dropping I have no issues with him, he is what he is, a high end goalscorer with a great shot.

Your team is clearly deeper up front than ours and until that changes you guys will be a tough match-up for us.

I can’t imagine watching Matthews and deducing that he’s just a high end goal scorer with a great shot. That’s probably Stamkos not Matthews.

Personally if my team had the clear best player in the sport...like objectively there would be a certain confidence level to that. That does not seem to be the case with a lot of Oiler fans. It just honestly comes off as incredibly insecure.

Ah it's just good ribbing. I'm sure Edmonton is a nice city, with the spring walrus run, the 24 hour long nights in the winter and summer, the mid summer icebergs flowing in the downtown "city" core, the fashion choices, the winter parkas , the summer parkas... beautiful city

Some day I hope to have some fun at the expense of Ottawa when they get awarded a NHL franchise. the toilet seats are always a fun city to make fun of... all kinds of good old locker room talk.

I particularly enjoyed the multiple cross checks by McBaby directly in front of the ref to Hymans back behind the Oil net in the 3rd, which knocked down Hyman not once but twice. You'd have to take a truck load of TNT to knock Hyman off his feet, took away a scoring chance but hey lets let McBaby get away with what ever he wants because ya know, if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'. McBaby would have to take out a gun and shoot Hyman to get a PIM, but then again the ref would have to confer if Hyman was at fault for getting in the way of the blessed bullet from McBaby's gun.

I rarely visit the GDT during the game anymore. It’s just depressing to see supposed fans (I swear half are fake troll accounts) acting like spoiled children. I sometimes think some of them forget the players are human, this isn’t a video game.

I just don't see a point in visiting the GDT during the game anymore. Way too many people and posts, 0 meaningful conversations + I am kind of busy actually watching the game.
