The Good: Don't want to jump the gun, but it's looking more likely that Galchenyuk is the answer for the 2LW. He's been effective so far in every start, if this is still happening at game #10 then it's going to be where he stays. I think he needs some time on the 2PP, that wrist shot he has is world class. JT looked like he wasn't going to let them lose, he had a great game. A flukey goal is maybe just what the doctor ordered for Mr Matthews, hopefully the damn bursts and he starts pouring them in, it certainly looks like his shot is back. Muzz and Holl looked pretty effective and seem to be back to where they were prior to Muzz' broken cheek, Dermott isn't horrible but maybe it's time to give Liljegren an audition, I think he's going to need to get some reps before the playoffs.
The Bad: Willie Ny as the 1st star, bad choice in my book, yes it was great to see him with the deuce he put up being a big part of the win, but he wasn't very effective for most of his shifts. Simmonds didn't look like he should be on that line, he was OK there but I don't think it's his spot. Sheldon Sheldon Sheldon, I know Jumbo is a great guy, good team man, a lot of fun in practice, but he's not a first liner anymore, the job belongs to Buster full stop.
The Ugly: Seeing as many other people have commented on it, I won't because there's enough negativity as there is. Game management is for losers in loser leagues, if you're going to call P:ierre Engvall for a borderline hook(it was a penalty) then you have to call Draisatil on the interference, the Xchecks, and on the slashes, McDavid on the boarding, Kassian on the interference and slashing. You cannot let that crap go and then make the nitchy calls, but I guess Gary say's it's A-OK!
