yeah, there were some that made it to the top Sunday and they looked like they shouldnt have. Even with crampons and heavy duty gear. Some were inquiring if there was any room on cog going back down. All seats were sold out. They advised maybe able to ride outside on platform if an emergency.
Down below they were advising most to not go above 4000 feet. The tree line.

Im glad I experienced it though this time of year. This weekend is last for year cog goes all the way to top. I can see why.

Lol i walked the auto road down when i hiked it. I saw some folks trying to hitch down as well. No chance i was going back down the way i had just come up. It was still miserable walking back down on pavement

Marc grew up in Belmont but didn't come from money. His Dad vanished from his life and his Mom raised him and his sister. He worked his butt off to get his MBA in accounting and he did my taxes for the past 20 years which gets complicated as much of my income came as a contractor which meant many, many 1099's. He saved me a lot of $$$ over the years but he would not let me pay him. Only once did he ask me for a favor 'If I can get to Vancouver for Game 7 can you get me in?' - He was in that wonderful van ride from Vancouver to Seattle and he knew the right place for us to party.

He spent a semester in Manchester, UK, and became a supporter of Man City because they were the underdog.

The painful thing for all of his many, many, many friends was we couldn't bring him back after his wife died last year. You could not even say her name to him without him starting to cry.
