Well he didn't have Delic with Goyette and Konyen and by the third period he removed Musty from that line put back Delic with the top unit. Instant chemistry and the line scored twice in the third.
Today it should be this... well that's what I hope to see,
Delic Goyette Konyen
Musty DeGrazia Pharand
Boudreau Larmand McCallum
Derbidge Walton Assadourian
Out-Mauro, Villenueve is injured.
On the defensive side,
Holmes Mania
Anania Toure
Robinson Bishop
Collins is injured.

What a stupid penalty at the end of the period. Looked like a completely unnecessary cross check. Idiotic.

Been a few of them. They were gassed trying to kill the penalty on the first Missy goal.
Wolves need to stop turning over the puck. Mania and Robinson yikes!!! Collins can’t get here soon enough. I really do hope Paps finds a OA dman and release Robinson. Take the loss on that deal Paps.
Musty is missing something. I think he’s played every player. Can’t find a steady line mates for him.
Delic, Goyette, McCallum and Boudreau most involved today.
Ranger playing outstanding.

wj I think what Musty is missing is quickness and maybe hockey sense? He has some straight ahead speed and can shoot. But he never seems to be able to separate himself from a check, or seldom seems to be the kind of guy to be in the right place at the right time.

Decent win. Nice game by Ranger, kept them in game.
I really liked the lines in this game.
Delic should be first option for every PK in my opinion. He had a great game.
Wolves demonstrated their offensive ability. I must say McCallum and Larmand played a good game, showed leadership.
Some bad timing penalties, could have hurt them, need to stay discipline. Musty taking dumb penalties, need to settle him down.
I really liked the lines in this game.
Delic should be first option for every PK in my opinion. He had a great game.

Be ready for Chromiak. Kid is not playing in his club at all. And if they wanna give him chance, it not even 10 min. IT. Dvorsky is also in difficult situation.

McCallum solid
Defense - they need to be stronger on the puck in own end. Few back there not mobile enough. Puck goes around the boards a few times to many. They need to get the puck up ice to generate more shots
Robinson - trying to give this guy the benefit of the doubt but he's making it hard. If wolves cut him loose he'd be lucky to get picked up. He needs to not pinch at the blue line. Gets caught standing flat footed and it's over. Play to your strengths
The offence got it going after awhile. Making good on their opportunities which was good to see. They've put the puck in the net quite a bit in the 1st 2 games
Like the adjustment on the PK putting pressure on players at the point. Having Holmes on the PP looked a little better
Overall pleased with the w/e results

The only consistent line was Delic/Goyette/Konyen, after that it was mixed up from period to period. However the third period line of Musty/DeGrazia/McCallum seemed good. Maybe something to try for a few games. Boudreau/Assadourian/Pharand seems like a decent line. Derbidge Walton and Larmand make up the last one. However when Villeneuve comes back you slot him in there over Walton. The one extra player rotation throughout the season.
Game thoughts,
-Too many turnovers. Blind passes, lazy passes, too slow moving the puck and getting stripped. Need to be smarter and quicker when moving out of their zone. Which they had some trouble early on.
-Too many penalties. Guys were not even moving near the end of the game. It became a shooting gallery for Missy. Thank god for the Lone Ranger!!!
-Delic/Goyette are such treats to watch when they turn it on. Not even in there grove yet but man when they do watch out....
-Musty has a wicked shot however Wolves still trying to find the right line mates for him. He is not a puck pursuit type guy. With open space he is incredibly dangerous. However the Wolves don't always have lengthy puck possession in the offensive zone where he can find space and a dish off guy for him for that one timer. The one chance today he buried it without issue. Small glimpse of what he can do. And when he was on the American team this summer they had the cogs who set him up nicely. If the Wolves can get that line right for him he will be lethal. Maybe Villenueve can be that guy.
-Toure great sound game on the backend. Still adjusting to the speed but his length made up for it. He was able to smother guys and intercept pucks from being controlled by Missy behind the net. Needs to watch stepping up on guys for hits because his size. Will always get the call for headshots. The refs missed one on Delic early on but surely saw Toure's.
-Anania hâd a better game. Blocked shots and played a solid defensive game. That's all he needs to do. Same with Holmes. Robinson though got burned several times on the outside and he continues to pinch up and is too slow to get back into position IMO. Bishop getting more comfortable with all this ice. His length helped today as he was able to tip pucks out of passing lanes. But will be nice to see Collins back and to ease the ice time on Mania.
-Ranger best value for a 4th round pick! This deal will go down as the Wolves best one of the year.

Well lets hope it happens sooner than later. Can't delay his progression any longer. Get it done Paps... Dvorsky well that would be a huge get but not holding my breath on him. However if they do some really interesting moves will need to be conducted by Paps.

Chromiak has to be top priority for the Wolves right now.. the kid is a stud and getting him over in his 17 year old season would be huge. Top end talent on the backend for the next 3 seasons. Top priority

Yes especially with a big three game roadie coming up. Last thing we need is to be 0-5 and behind the eight ball right away.
This is beyond unbelievable. What a joke.
If this kid is a stud, why is he not getting ice time with his current team? Other then the U18, which he did not played great, has anyone seen him play? I think he could easily replace Robinson, but let’s not make him out to be the next Bobby Orr. He is 17 and his draft year, it would a smart move by him to come over.

No one is saying he's Bobby Orr. He's a 17 year old kid that made the Men's team in the top Slovakian Pro league. That's a huge jump for a 17 year old. But he's not getting the playing time on a deep Trencin team. Do your research on this kid. And it's not his draft year, he's a late birth date so eligible 2024 draft. He's a stud for his age group in Slovakia.
