Any word on how Samu Tuomaala did at the Flyers camp? Is he returning to Finland or can we expect him to decide to come to North America. Would be amazing add to this roster.

Honestly, would he really help the team? The depth up front is already pretty good and Tuomaala, due to the mismanagement of the flyers has been quite mediocre for the last year and barely played hockey.

We need a natural scoring right winger. If I were Paps if unable to get him here I would be looking for one around the league. Too many off wing guys here. And McCallum on the right side does well you know absolutely nothing for this team.

I would have nothing to do with him, he had his chance to play here and shunned this team. Deal for an import at sometime as Paps has proven, that is the only way we will ever get one.

I would give him a shot. You can never have too much talent on your club. I don't blame a kid for wanting to play pro, his management may not be giving him the best direction.

On another note Dario has stated he wants Sudbury to be the loudest arena in the league. I hope he is successful because I enjoy bad music on a crappy sound system that's so loud you can't talk to the person beside me. Although that may not be anissue because if is like last few years she is notcoming anyway. She is giving it the first two home games.

Assadourian-does he get involved more or stay on the perimeter
Musty- can he show better separation quickness in coming off boards or pulling away from a check
D robinson- what exactly do we have here
Walton-is his skating as good as it looks. This kid could be areal find
Villeneuve -what do we have here
Mania - has his game grown. Real potential
Konyen ditto
Delic-what has he learned with his summer opportunities
 
What I’m looking for tonight: sound team defence in DZ, Relentless puck pressure, tight cap in NZ and winning 70% board battles and DISCIPLINE….I know it’s a wish list but is required for Team success….

Hollingsworth has been released as he is no longer on the roster.

Wolves in tough tonight with two rookies on defence. Toure and Collins both out with injury/sickness. Walton and Bishop making their first regular season game appearances.

Between Robinson, Bishop, Holmes and Mania I think they were having a competition about how could do less in the defensive zone. Robinson and Bishop were the runaway winners but they other two were not great either. Toure and Collins can't return soon enough.
 
Assadourian - did he get below the hash marks more than once, win any loose pucks create turnovers? Hoping for more
D Robinson- knock any body down in front got beat wide by jodoiunn, not great gap control
Mania, tries to drive and make plays, not always great in his own end. Best overall player on the blueline
Musty - skilled but needs to accomplish more
Delic 1my favourite over the last two years. Always looking to drive plays, create and win pucks. Man if hecwas just a tad quicker and a little more skilled with the puck. He has that firehydrant build and low center of gravity. Assadourian needs to watch tapes and see how a smaller guy can still get tough and strong on the puck because has is a little quicker and more puck skillscand abetted shot
 
On the bright side... Goyette is a heck of a player and will be a star in this league if he's not already. Glad to have him back.


Ya he’s our best player and face of the franchise. He works hard every game. He deserves to be the captain.

Defence was horrific tonight. Granted we played with two rookies in the top 6. Collins dearly missed. Robinson not sure if he's the overage we should have on defence. However a lot of them had their bad moments tonight.

The first line should be and always be Delic Goyette Konyen. The chemistry is just there. Why tinker with that Coach??? Musty should play with Pharand and Bouderau. AD with Derbidge and Walton and DeGrazia with Larmand and McCallum. When Villy returns he can play with AD and Derbidge. Walton can platoon in and out.

But most glaring weakness is Defence...

The 3rd period was fun to watch. Like everyone said our defence was pretty weak. I found Ranger gave a lot of rebounds. Only 1 dumb penalty (Robinson) so that’s a big improvement

The never-ending line juggling continues.....ugghhhh! Coach just can't help himself.

Not sure who is coaching the forwards but absolutely no resistance to Barrie's breakout. I don't think we touched a player carrying the puck out of the offensive end all night.

Defense? What defense! Already feeling bad for Ranger.

McCallum! He got lucky on that hit along the boards and nothing but a liability to this team.
