Not bad. I'm just covinced that Konyen and Delic are best suited on a line together. And on D I think Anania and Toure play too similar of a style that they would not compliment each other. I think Holmes with Toure and Anania with Collins would be perfect. Either way Pretty damn good Top 3 lines and I think underrated D

Wonder if we'll be seeing an announcement of the leadership group any time soon, seeing lots of other teams start to announce. Can't remember the last time where I was this unsure about who would end up in the wolves group, feels like it could be any of 7-8 players.

Yes I agree Defensive pairings sound better with yours. I think Musty will be first liner for him to lose. I see Delic more in defensive forward role after watching pre season games he played in. Knowing Duncanson lines will be different every game, until January. .

I was a big fan of your number 1 line or rookie line from last year. I wouldn’t split them up. They will be dangerous this year. NB only saw Musty once. He fought Lukin and did well. All the best this year.

Larmand had a letter last season and seems to have earned the trust of the coaches. I’d say Goyette and Collins need to be considered and if they could stick an A on the goalie: Ranger…

Pharand is a great choice but starting in third year only. He needs to concentrate on his game and getting established.

Maturity wise he looks most ready before guys like McCallum, Goyette, Musty, Boudreau in my opinion especially on a rotation basis.

Agreed! Also one of your hardest workers on and off the ice and apparently an amazing young man. Also local kid, so I agree on Pharand, I just feel it’s a lot to ask a 2nd draft/year player.

Letter or no Letter, Leadership-needs to be a shared responsibility for this team to be successful. They need to become more mature and hold each other accountable to take play to the next level.

Well let’s be honest the Soo had many leaders to choose from and Holmes really didn’t picture in the Soo’s leadership or team plans anyway. If not a C def an A here. He is older now and displays a mature demeanour.

To be fair, with two new coaches on board the extra time should be taken to ensure they have the right leaders in place. This team needs strong leadership.

What are your predictions for the wolves in the eastern conference standings?
I have the wolves 7th even though 5th in division. I’m not sure that’s likely given the unbalanced schedule. They do play the Soo 6X, that helps.

I also have them 7th & 5th in the division. I think they will be competitive but are in a tough division. I think this will bode well and prepare this team for when their window to really compete opens next season.
