The old man has the team going behind the bench. They played a much more defensive game. Other than the first NB goal they missed the trailer. Krawchuk played a simple square to the shooter type game and it was successful. Happy for the kid. Must be a huge confidence booster for him as well as the team for finally beating a top team.

NB tried to goat Sudbury into a lot of retaliatory penalties. Nice to see them not cross that line for the most part other than Anania's spear. McCallum was fantastic tonight. Nice to put the one in especially since they were jawing with him all night.

As for the refs that was gawd awful.

We need another victory tomorrow in the Soo.

Chromiak saw very little ice tonight even when Anania was ejected. He had a rough one in North Bay the other night so I expected him to get less time tonight. But he got like nothing tonight.

NB is deep and still missing some vets due to injury. And their goalie is really solid youngster. They make one more move and they will be incredibly hard to beat.

Lots of parking on the side streets in NB
Ya man I know. Unfortunately I happened to manage to get a ticket out of a whole lineup. Parked a bit too close to a side street intersection. I thought it was kind of dirty, wasn’t blocking anything. $40 plus and we gave up 9 goals…..so a bit sour on that. Go there too late.

Loved Krawchuck, Toure, McCallum, Goyette, Mania and Collins tonight. Great win. Still too many passengers I can’t wait to see who goes next week and who stays…
Holmes had a good game for me. Best in awhile.

Among the most exciting games I've watched this year

Happy for Krawchuk - here's to hoping for more starts for the young goalie!

Rough night for the refs!
Exactly. Best experience at the rink for me this year as well. Nothing like overcoming adversity and staging a comeback with a big goal late in the third. Good entertaining game. Loved what I saw from Krawchuck. As far as North Bay, not only are they a good team but their goalie is ridiculously good to boot. I agree they could be very hard to beat. Great gutsy comeback effort tonight.

They earned this one

Will they play Krawchuk tomorrow is the question.
Exactly.

Please don’t forget Robinson and Holmes tonight, both played exceptionally well. Better D zone protection and puck management. They both get beat up on here, but tonight, great game guys!!

Guys common if this is all we get from Robinson and Holmes we have a problem. Our 3 Oa’s are C- this year when they should be killing it. Holmes might have played better but he’s not getting a contract with Dallas because he needs to do WAY better overall.

Focus on the positive man, give them their due when warranted. For better or worse they most likely aren’t going anywhere. Talk to Papineau, kids showed well tonight.

Saw the game I did 👍🍺

So nice to see positive posts after a big win but how long will it last? Will be interesting to see after the Soo game. McCullum is proving game in and game out he is the catylst on this team, are there still doubters he is back as an OA next year?

100% he’s back next year unless he returns an 06 like VanVolsen and picks. He needs to be penciled in as an OA.

I will be honest, McCallum's last ~15-20 game stretch has me warming up to the idea of him being an OA next year. He is a very valuable player when he plays the way he has been. Hoping his strong play continues into the second half of the season!

Not sure Petes need him in their stacked line up. I think McCallum is proving how valuable he is to this young Wolves team. A guy that had to suck it up and take his knocks as a younger player. Good example for other guys to stick with it and believe in the process. Great to see his growth. Only guy worth keeping as an OA right now for next year IMO.
