not only you need you're vision checked, might need a hearing test. :)
Had the vision checked a few times over the past decade :)
pretty much tone deaf, but unfortunately not to extent that I can tolerate the wolves homer broadcast team. Add the between period interviewer too.
The wolves broadcast is as amateur as it gets.

Not sure Petes need him in their stacked line up. I think McCallum is proving how valuable he is to this young Wolves team. A guy that had to suck it up and take his knocks as a younger player. Good example for other guys to stick with it and believe in the process. Great to see his growth. Only guy worth keeping as an OA right now for next year IMO.
Not to mention sat the bench his rookie season behind Byfield and company as well as Stillman. Then missed an entire year and 1/2 of covid shut down. The kid is finally coming around.

I agree about amateur, I think Randy Pascal would profess to that, but I think he is far from being a homer. I hear him often commenting on Wolves players and what weakness they have and what they need to work on.

I think the key for McCallum was he stopped with his antics from early on this season and now playing discipline hockey 200 ft game. Good for him, but I still feel his offensive numbers still shy for 1st pick but he has contributed defensively very well.

Dirty sounds like you do have all the qualifications of a great OHL referee. :naughty:

Can wolves cheerleader be the middle ground?

Don’t be fooled he is still up to his Rat Like antics, but has found the sweet spot of being disciplined while doing. From what I know and have witnessed about his style of play is that he has always thrives as a puck carrier, distributor and play maker. But don’t be fooled, when he does shoot it’s got some mustard on it and very accurate..yes love his game now.

Surprisingly because he was struggling to handle the puck on his stick for a bit. Its obvious he has found some confidence and possibly coaching has helped him in the last month.

I would bet that was the plan all along. Probably thought they had a better chance to win today than last night vs NB.
Or Krawchuck was going to get the middle game all along.
He earned last nights start with his relief effort Wednesday imo, but 2 1/2 games in 3 1/2 days might be a bit much for the rookie.

Wolves have a 3 in 3 next weekend. My guess would be that Krawchuk gets the middle start on the Saturday vs Hamilton

I'd try running with Krawchuk every 3rd game for the next little while and see what kind of result that produces. Krawchuk could use some games & rest could be what J.Ranger needs to play better.

No way wolves should lose this game. The game shouldn't even be tied!!

If Papineau plans to go with Ranger as the full-time goalie the rest of the way man then I didn't know what to say.

Another miss on Papineau evaluation. Another Feel good story. Kid has local ties etc blah blah blah

Brutal!

Ya Ranger inspires zero confidence in me. They basically won the game in spite of him needing six goals. Puts a damper on things because not sure how they’re going to move forward and it seems like with Ranger he is who he is, which is inconsistent and not the guy.

It wasn't pretty but we will take the win on a short turnover. Wolves take care of business this weekend before they begin a New Year! I'm happy they ended on a positive note. Time for some celebrations and back to business next weekend. Wolves move into an 8th spot in the Conference. Hope they can move up a few more spots before the end of the season.

Old man behind the bench picks up another win.

McCallum once again quietly picks up 4 apples today.

He is not the guy. Poor evaluation by Papineau, again. He signed a few dmen out of camp. I hope their mobile. He had praises for Bishop as well, whom hasn't seen the ice in weeks.

I don't know how he sits on the press box and feel good about the team he has put forth. I don't trust him.

Ranger no doubt has lost his composure from the start of the year. Not sure if he will regain it at this point in the season. But he is our goalie the rest of the season. Let's hope he finds his confidence soon and shows us fans he was the correct choice that Papineau made. There is really nothing the Wolves can do at this point. We won't deal for another tender IMO.

Papineau owes it to the fans to do his due diligence to sure up the goaltending down the stretch. That's his job.
