Beyond Ugly: Gerbe just said that "we had a lot of good chances" on TV. I already wanted him gone, but that is an instant waive for me. If you think anything about this game was even okay, get the **** out of the NHL.
He hasn't done anything well in forever as evidenced by the end product.
He's not going to be around.
Why would we want Darcy involved in decisions for another guys team.

You're going to get flamed for this, but I don't totally disagree. Meanwhile, Regehr was a complete clown/pylon tonight. Seriously, the guy looks done.
Pominville looked stoned tonight.
No other comments worthwhile.
Generally not for players like Vanek. Your UFAS etc you get the most bang for the buck with but teams are reluctant to seal the deal on trades like Vanek because of free agency and cap changes.

It had that flavor, didn't it? Even in the wake of the surprise Ruff firing, I'd be shocked if they fire Regier tomorrow or any time in-season.
We can hope though. I want Regier to have no meaningful influence over the future direction of this team.

The games over, you're playing awful and someone has your goalie in a headlock. Nobody feels the need to fight? I guess letting your goalie try to throw some shots by himself is enough...

The Good -
- Cementing their status as worst team in the league
The Bad -
- Repeatedly terrible plays by supposed top 4 defensemen. Sekera, Ehrhoff, Regehr, Myers all made any number of poor plays tonight.
- Error-hoff handing one to Grabner.
- A complete lack of urgency from almost everyone to a man for almost the entire evening.
- Hey Marcus, where is that emotion in the first period? Or the second?
The Ugly -
- Sulzer hurting what looks like a knee so more TJ Time.
- This can still get worse and be so for a long, long time.
