So the only problem we have is the likely TSN intern who put the graphic together, because you know Bobby Mac and James Duthie don't do that photoshop thing. I actually thought they were laying the coverage on a little thick earlier, but with only two Canadian teams poised to make the playoffs this year, they don't have that many feel good stories to talk about. The Statsny acquisition came out of left field. Caught everyone by surprise. No one knew about it until the Jets PR team released the information.

Agreed. The Central, and by extension the West is as open as it's ever been. The Jets are in a great position to contend for a deep playoff run, so take advantage of it before extensions and ELCs expire.

Lets the Toronto Sports Network know that the Jets don't give a **** about them either! :)

Toronto centric to be sure, but Winnipeg got an awful lot of love yesterday and more than the Leafs did. Have to say it was more than a fair day coverage wise.

I kinda wish the Jets were flying more under the radar...
That underdog mentality can be a real positive, I think what Wheeler said a while back was important. This team is past being under the radar so they've got to control their mindset this last quarter.

Hard to play the underdog role when you have home ice advantage. How the heck did the Eagles get away with that anyway?

Us fans need to change our mindset. At least I do. It's really odd to think that we have such an awesome team.... :)

losing Carson Wentz who was on an MVP type of run and replacing him with Foles who hadn't been relevant since like 2014 probably had something to do with it.

no real discussion on what's going on with St Louis. wondering if they'll make big changes if they miss the playoffs.
getting rid of Stastny, who was a pending UFA, is a move made if the team doesn't see a deep playoff run.

But they got to play all their NFC playoff games at home. Underdogs in every game. Won't happen in hockey that way
Home team and underdogs aren't synonymous though. The Eagles situation is hopefully very different than what the Jets will have.

I hope we do have home ice advantage. I could care less about being an underdog.

After all we'll be burning down villages along the way ;)

Yes to home ice, yes to be being beastly.

Prime reason the Eagles were home dogs was a key injury(s), that is what we all don't want.
