I disagree politely. I think they are using Bob for sure and he is playing great, but he is a part of the team and the way they are playing greatly compliments the players and their goalie. They know they can trust him to make the saves, but if you watch their neutral zone coverage, forechecking etc. they play as a unit and they are very well coached on how to play. Just my opinion, of course.Panthers is not a good defensive team in terms of coaching or structure. The forwards are all working their asses off to backcheck, but the Panthers allow the most shots per game in this playoff series.
This is a team that has benefitted the most from questionable reffing, very hot goal tending and their stars coming very clutch.
The Carolina game last night was very close, as has each of the games and they seem to not be getting any puck luck. They really are missing Svechnikov.
Speaking of reffing, I think each team had their own share of bad reffing influencing their game. I don't think the Panthers had any advantage comparing to some other teams. But, yes, reffing has not been great at all.
