Horizon: ZD remaster/remake would be pretty dumb. The game is, like, 6 years old and runs great and looks solid on the PS5. Of course the graphics have improved since then, but not enough to warrant an update, IMO. I even thought TLOU Remake was pretty silly but it made a lot more sense.

Anyone have any idea why I'm getting an error syncing the saved data to cloud each time I boot up Jedi Survivor? I have to pick between the cloud and saved data... and they're the same file size and the exact same file. I also get the same message about TLOU Remake every time I boot up the PS5, but I figured that's because I deleted the game off the console.

You guys don't think it's gonna be a Bloodborne remake, do you? :sarcasm:

Guessing we get dates for Star Rail (rumor is a couple of weeks) and Stellar Blade. Maybe an update on Lost Soul Aside.

Anyone using the Dualsense Edge? Other than questionable battery life, any issues or negatives? Thinking about getting one for the kid. He's a bit of a sweatlord.

I use for it Overwatch 2. It's really convenient having the different profiles. I like the weight of it too. The back triggers are great for shooters if hes into that. If it ever gets stick drift, you can always replace the stick so no need to buy a whole new controller.

Helldivers 2, hell yeeeaahhh. For Democracy!

Phantom Blade is very interesting. Its clearly very deliberately chinese style sword fighting with that crouching tiger/Hero etc style straight sword and sword slashes.

Sword of the Sea aka journey 2

Teardown coming to console I didnt think that was possible since it was a pretty hardcore raytracing game on PC.

Who is making the Snake Eater remake? Thought it was bluepoint but if its crossplatform I assume it isn't. Does Konami even have a development studio anymore?

Do they still have that animus crap in Assassins Creed?

lotta good PSVR2 titles, that I will never play.

Gran Turismo movie as the rumors said is actually about the videogame.

Id love to play forspoken, but its never gone on a decent sale. They even released a story dlc just the other day. For who? Nobodies played the game.
They really need to just put it out. Nobody is going to care in 2 years.
Naughty Dog's Antham? Thankfully, I believe Naughty Dog's A-team is on something else, and this was a spun off team.

The gameplay in the Last of Us is one of the game's weakest aspect. Unless they spend time overhauling it, i don't see why people would be interested in a multiplayer game with clunky mechanics.
I see the point of this, but The Last of Us and the Uncharted multiplayers tended to do pretty well and had a decently large playbase for what to many was just an add-on to the game. I personally would rather Naughty Dog be entirely focused on Part 3, a new Uncharted or some new IP, and all this time wasted on factions is somewhat annoying.

They should work on some new IP i think. There is only so much they can get out of the Uncharted or The Last of Us.

I'm not sure why this wasn't present at the showcase but here we are!

No idea. Very curious about the demands. This is a game that was stated to take a ton of advantage of PS5's SSD. At first I thought Returnal which also used the PS5's SSD for new techniques (I believe to load the rooms quickly), recommended 32gb ram, but it seems to only be 16gb. Great game, and agreed surprised it wasn't part of the showcase. One the showcase didn't really deliver, and PC reveals which would probably get much more fanfare were probably cut to pigeon hole as much of PSVR 2 stuff in there given it's lagging sales.

Speaking in the showcase, I still have a ton of faith in Sony going forward, they have too many talented studios unless they completely mismanaged them. But, this showcase seemed reflective of chasing things like VR and live-service, instead of what the passionate Sony fan base wants (basically the must-play 3rd person AAA games that defined the PS3/PS4 era). Sony's catalog caters to that design, and it would be nice to see them branch out into maybe creating their own WRPG or figure out a great single player FPS game with potentially multiplayer capabilities. But, it seems the two areas they tried to expand in, both have niche audiences despite GaaS having massive financial windfalls if they land.

If I had to guess Sackboy absolutely bombing kind of discouraged them, Mascot platformers or games like that aren't really for the PC space, so theyre not gonna spend much time on marketing.

I'm actually stunned at how bad the Gollum game looks. I just can't imagine an entire team of people sat around a table and decided this game would be a good idea.

No one could make an interesting game centered around Gollum. There is nothing interesting that could be done that would fit the character and his role in the lore. It does not excuse the game being a dumpster fire but i pity the people that had to work for years on a project that had no chance of ever succeeding.

FF 7: Rebirth ending Summer Games Fest 2023. Explains why it wasn't at the Sony show. Release date is early 2024. Would have helped the lackluster show that Sony put out, but a big exclusive for Sony overall to have in the pipeline with XVI, Spider-Man, and Wolverine.

It looks great, my only criticism, when the characters are walking, running, etc, they just clip through all the tall grass, flowers and bushes. Extremely distracting.
