Sorry its a heatsync. Find one that has it built in.I dont think this is true, as long as its PCIE Gen 4 it should work, but id need to double check.

I'm running a WD Black SN850 1tb in mine I believe with a heatsink.I dont think this is true, as long as its PCIE Gen 4 it should work, but id need to double check.
Samsung has a bad warranty in Canada so i would not recommend them for any Canadians out there.I'm running a WD Black SN850 1tb in mine I believe with a heatsink.
While usually I'd include among that and the Firecude among my recommendations. At the moment, I would stay clear of the Samsung 980 pros and 990 pros. They seem to be having an issue at the moment (particularly 2tb ones, and I'm not sure if their is a firmware fix for it on PS5, or if the issue is exclusive to PC but fixable through a driver update. So, while Samsung NVME's are generally pretty good, to anyone looking I'd verify what exactly the issues were. I got a pretty good deal on a 980 pro and am running it on my PC, but made sure to update the firmware and check the drives condition using Samsung Magician but I have no idea how you'd check that on a PS5.
Bungie’s Lightfall (Destiny 2) trailer will debut then.New State of Play coming on Thursday, the majority of it on the Suicide Squad game and PSVR2, so it'll be pretty lackluster, for me anyway. Maybe we get some new FFXVI video, or VII Part 2 or maybe some Suikoden release dates, but I got low expectations going in.
I think the belief is this is going to be relatively minor, and that Sony has something bigger planned for Spring (something similar to Playstation Experience from fall of 2021).New State of Play coming on Thursday, the majority of it on the Suicide Squad game and PSVR2, so it'll be pretty lackluster, for me anyway. To be fair, WB Games has done a HORRIBLE job promoting their Batman universe games, especially Gotham Knights. It looks like they’re using a similar weapon system in this game which would be awesome. Gotham Knights was a good game with two REALLY good story arcs. That might have been the worst State of Play that Sony has ever put out.
Suicide Squad in particular was a disaster. They take 4 wacky, crazy characters (good), and spend 90% of the gameplay reel showing them shoot generic weapons at purple balls to destroy enemies.
Awful.
PS - 1994Hey, I've been out of gaming for awhile and have been kicking around getting a PS5. Can someone give me a decent idea of this thing's lifespan? Part of what holds me back is dumping $500 into this thing and having the PS6 announced next spring.
Damn, that and the G2 have been TVs I've been eying for a while but I can't justify it at the moment (bought a new 1440p monitor this year and already have a 4k tv just not one capable of 4K/120). Should be a great purchase.Bought an LG C2 today. It's replacing a 15 year old plasma that isn't even 1080p. Needless to say the PS5 will now be a different experience for me lmao
I wouldn't be shocked if this Generation is a little longer just due to how much trouble both MS and Sony had in getting consoles out to the wild. But, 2027/2028 sounds about right to me, the real question is will we get mid-gen refreshes like the Pro and One X, since the main reason that happened last gen was due to 4k, and I can't see 8K becoming a common standard anytime soon (there's also like one GPU right now that can even attempt to run it at a playable standard without serious upscalling enabled).PS - 1994
PS2 - 2000
PS3 - 2006
PS4 - 2013
PS5 -2020
It's damn near clockwork, so I'd guess 2026 or 2027.
I have a 144hz monitor I hook the PS5 up to from time to time, but the "boss" can only put up with the PS5 being in the office for so longDamn, that and the G2 have been TVs I've been eying for a while but I can't justify it at the moment (bought a new 1440p monitor this year and already have a 4k tv just not one capable of 4K/120). Not any time soon, due to supply chain issues and covid we've barely entered the new generation. Games truly developed for these new machines in mind are only starting to just come out.Hey, I've been out of gaming for awhile and have been kicking around getting a PS5. I'm looking at doing the exact same thing right down to the 720p plasma. How's the C2 been so far?Bought an LG C2 today. It's replacing a 15 year old plasma that isn't even 1080p. Needless to say the PS5 will now be a different experience for me lmao
It is absolutely unreal. Cannot recommend enough. Watching the playoffs and Blue Jays 4k is also amazing on it. I also find myself watching alot of crap on Prime just for the 4K HDR.I'm looking at doing the exact same thing right down to the 720p plasma. How's the C2 been so far?
