But then you don't have cap space to fix the top 6.I wouldn’t be completely opposed to keeping Skinner as a backup. He’s a local guy, just had his 2nd baby. He can be better than average but he’s just so inconsistent. Lessen his workload, get a legit starter, maybe he can develop as a goalie a bit with less pressure.
Maybe he’s a bit overpaid for a backup but I do like the guy and if the rest of the team does too then he could be worth keeping around, you need 2 goalies anyway.
