I would play him 3C with Kelemen and Lantosi on his wings. And have him on the second powerplay unit as well. But I have my doubts he will go, he could want to stay and prepare for the combine and draft.

How so? Hlavaj was the bomb vs Switzerland and Skovranek put Michalovce on his back and carried them to a top 4 finish in extraliga (eliminated Slovan in the playoffs).

Yeah that is true. I mean Halak just got eliminated at night and he didn't play a single minute in the playoffs for the Rangers. But at his age I just don't see him playing at the WCH anymore. It's been so long since he played at one of these tourneys. Hope I'm wrong though.

Would be a decent top six. With Regenda in somewhere also. They miss Slaf and Dano, but not a bad offensive at all.

Pre-tournament games often don't tell much in the terms of scores. Don't panic.

I expect forwards to be relatively fine, but defense scares me a lot. It will be a very tough battle to get to the QF. Also Dvorsky should be there, not much in bottom 6 has sold me that they absolutely deserve to go to WC right now

Sad that Knazko is the only solid D that we're getting. Thought early on we could be a medal contender, but not with this D.

Riecicky is our number 3
Hudacek is great as always on the NT, very creative, very good offensive poise
Panik still looks NHL worthy

Defense still looks quite shaky for me, I don’t think this forward will have trouble scoring but keeping the puck out of the net is another thing. No Slafkovsky to save us when we need it.

Probably will need a few good goalie performances.
