Why would he ask to terminate his contract to take a lessor one ? He gets pay full salary in the AHL . He needs money . Some people just aren't good humans . They are asses in everything they do . It is really too bad as he has talent and if he conducted himself right he would probably make millions more in endorsements . He already pissed away all the money he made and now he is pissing away his future earnings as well . As they say there no fixing stupid and some people just can't see what they are doing .

It depends on the bankruptcy proceedings. If creditors don't get future earnings, him getting a new contract, even much less, can be beneficial for him.

Kane had been doing questionable things in Winnipeg since the summer of 2011. Most of the fan base chose not to believe hearsay about Kane until 2015.
