If a team picks him up it will be the ultimate display of 'we don't give a shit about team chemistry'.

Curious which owner or manger raises their hand on this one.

Love to see it, can't believe I'm saying say this but respect to SJ for this one.

Hopefully the sack of shit rots in the AHL.

I remember back in the day some Jets fans constantly defended the guy,
So, like, before he started doing all this crap? Huh, some people defended the guy when he had only done a few questionable things, how ridiculous! How stupid were those people huh?

It's almost like there were signs that he was a complete dickhead back then hey

Depends on if he thinks he can control his attitude and wants to stay in the league
There's only one thing that will happen. He will not get claimed, he'll get sent down to the AHL, where he'll play and collect a paycheck. He'll get bought out in the off-season, and depending on how he performs in the AHL, he'll get a league minimum contract from a team that is willing to excuse his character issues, because hockey organizations have proven time and time again, they view social issues as performative.

If the Sharks retained half his salary, do you see any team trading for him. Even at future considerations level?

At league minimum someone would give him a chance but thats about it . At 50% aka $3.5m for 3 more years i can't see anyone interested. Too much risk involved.

Can’t see Vancouver risking it with everything they’re dealing with
Benning might be desperate,

plus maybe being closer to mom and dad will straighten this ass-hat out, he a great player with a desirable playing style,

but just so incredibly dumb
