You think he’d be better off letting go of $28 million?Wow…. Is he done after this or will he get another chance
He’d probably be better off asking for contract termination and trying to stay in the NHL on a cheaper salary deal somewhere
If a team picks him up it will be the ultimate display of 'we don't give a shit about team chemistry'.
Curious which owner or manger raises their hand on this one.
So, like, before he started doing all this crap? Huh, some people defended the guy when he had only done a few questionable things, how ridiculous! How stupid were those people huh?Love to see it, can't believe I'm saying say this but respect to SJ for this one.
Hopefully the sack of shit rots in the AHL.
I remember back in the day some Jets fans constantly defended the guy,
He was suspended 21 gamesSo his suspension must have been lifted?
Will he report to the Barracuda and would the Sharks even want him to report ?
Obviously nobody is picking up that contract
Bergevin is all about KarakterIf a team picks him up it will be the ultimate display of 'we don't give a shit about team chemistry'.

Depends on if he thinks he can control his attitude and wants to stay in the leagueYou think he’d be better off letting go of $28 million?
I think he gets loaned to another league khl or so
MaybeHe played in the KHL, and I doubt any team will want him.
I mean he's still a hell of a hockey player...A total bum and a complete waste of talent. He had everything to be one of the better power forwards we've ever seen in the game. His complete lack of character and professionalism destroyed any chance of that. I'm sure he had fun, but he could have been so much more.
There's only one thing that will happen. He will not get claimed, he'll get sent down to the AHL, where he'll play and collect a paycheck. He'll get bought out in the off-season, and depending on how he performs in the AHL, he'll get a league minimum contract from a team that is willing to excuse his character issues, because hockey organizations have proven time and time again, they view social issues as performative.Depends on if he thinks he can control his attitude and wants to stay in the league

There is absolutely no reason why he would forgo his contractDepends on if he thinks he can control his attitude and wants to stay in the league
Can’t see Vancouver risking it with everything they’re dealing withottawa / montreal / vancouver ?
If the Sharks retained half his salary, do you see any team trading for him. Even at future considerations level?
Benning might be desperate,Can’t see Vancouver risking it with everything they’re dealing with
