Be honest here, I don’t think Hutch was brought in as starting goalie.
There are two, Andersen and Campbell.
Andersen for some reason, he lets in weak goals in crucial times. Campbell will always manage to keep the Leafs in games.
I think abit of both, but more importantly Dubas needs to stop drafting only small puck moving Dman, bc they need some size in D. It didn’t dawn on me till last night when I was discussing with another poster, that it seemed like Leafs conceded less tip ins and deflection goals after Sandin got injured. I really think the Leafs need to learn to play more structure D as a team and I think they have shown that.
This past playoffs is really a playoffs where they took steps toward winning a Cup something they really have not done over the past two or three years.
