Should Kinkaid start Monday night in Toronto?

Frazee stops 37 out of 38 shots tonight in an Albany 3-1 win in Syracuse.

I've seen Frazee play good, and bad. I wouldn't mind letting him go, and making a spot for Wedgewood. Clearly they don't seem to want Wedgewood in the AHL yet, and that's why Clermont was brought up. Which is pretty baffling.

I'm not sure why they've held on to Frazee for so long. It's like how they won't part with that corpse Matt Corrente. Though to be fair someone like Frazee who's a goalie is nowhere near as expendable.

Because Wedge is starting in the ECHL right now, getting more games than he would get as a backup in the AHL. You train goalies through experience, and Wedge, as the young guy, needs experience.

Alright so why not give him a couple starts in the AHL this week while Kinkaid is up in the NHL? Don't tell me ''Well it's all about winning, and throwing him in is not the best idea just like throwing Kinkaid in is not the best idea up here!''

I thought we established that our management isn't so concerned with our AHL team being successful, but more about development. It's not a gamble like starting Kinkaid in the NHL right now.

Why not if Marty is out longer than expected. Kid needs to get in the big show eventually. Worse that could happen is that they lose one game. If Marty isn't back, Moose can't start for two weeks straight.

When you already have your #1 goalie injured, do you want a 39-yr old backup playing back to back and 3 out of 4 nights?

Why not give a 23-YR old netminder a start, he's played very well in Albany and he had a great college career.

This. I was highly against the kinkaid idea until today's debacle. Hedberg let in two softies and I don't need to even get into the shootout Swiss cheese mode. Throw KK in there and see what happens.
