Post-Game Talk: Shameful Leafs lose 3-2

Florida didn't win, we lost.

That 2nd period start was a nightmare. Sloppy lazy hockey, giveaway after giveaway in our own end and it cost us the entire f***ing game.

Bench Bunting the rest of the playoffs.

Bunting? He's not the one who lost the puck on his blue line at the start of the 2nd giving Florida life. Nylander is useless if he doesn't score...which is what he's doing right now.

Bobrovsky played really, really well.

Nothing shameful about this game, but they need to find a way to beat him so this isn't Korpisalo/Price 3.0. Samsonov also *has* to have that second goal. He was pretty much great besides that but it ended up being the difference.

Nylander makes the wrong decision every time, the one time Tavares is open for a clean pass and he goes for a backhander

Marner played like an idiot, waits for the screen the flicks it off the defender killing our cycle every time

He passed to Tavares 50 times tonight and Tavares couldn’t finish.

One was a sensational save by Brobovsky. Marner generates absolutely nothing. Okay I'll give him credit for looming dangerous on "one" shift all night. The rest of the night he looked as effective as David Kampf and David Kampf plays with crappy players.

Draisaitl on the other hand has 11 goals with about as many chances. One of them knows how to finish, the other is a proven choker

I can't believe the beginning of the 2nd period in a span of 47 seconds is what did us in. The amount of opportunities they had to tie it up was insane. Bobrovsky just stood on his head.

If they play 3 solid periods of hockey each and every game from now on then they win the series. But with this team, it's sadly a monumental feat.

Shameful beginning for marners round 2. Coasting out there, only shows up for the open space PP. Need him to take over to get back in the series.

These are the playoffs, he's not Gretzky or Lemieux, who could take over games...he just need not to give the game away like tonight.

Bobrovsky was great tonight but two home games to start the series and Matthews/Marner/Nylander didn't even register 1 goal.

NJ had this exact same situation 1st round where they lost the first two games on home ice and then made a goalie switch to Schmid,
